I’m so proud of this duo and I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for them!

Evelyn and Darcy tackled a new height and competitive division this weekend. They’ve been working hard on the finesse and it shows. Her OTTB came away with a top three placing in an under saddle full of big moving warmbloods AND they came home with ribbons in their over fences classes! It’s hard to believe that he’s still a green youngster when they can handle a big stage like the Kentucky Horse Park.

Thank you KHJA (Kentucky Hunter Jumper Association) for putting on such a wonderful event!

We’ve been working hard on the details and it is paying off in the show ring! These girls both had strong Stadium Jumping and Cross Country trips and finished on their Dressage scores to bring home 🥇first and 🥈second place ribbons in their respective divisions! Congrats!!

I am so proud of these two ladies 👏🏻👏🏻

Aubrey and Beckham rocked their classes, placing 2nd in the under saddle and 3rd in the Eq flat in a full division. Beckham is 26 this year and still out there showing off his strut in top form! Take care of your partner and your partner will take care of you!

Evelyn and Darcy stepped up to their 2’6 debut and also had a wonderful showing, coming home with the Reserve Championship in the TB Hunters and Championship win in the Low Child/Adults.

Thankful to be a part of their journeys! ❤️❤️

Great weekend with the Buehlers to kick off their show season. First up were Addie and Flash at the Paul Fraser CT earning 70%+ scores to bring home two 🥉🥉 !! Followed by a fun schooling day jumping around at Masterson, where Annie got to take the reins on Mama Luna 🥰.

👏🏻👏🏻 CONGRATS to the Buehlers!! Annie and Bella ended their 2023 competitive season as Year-end Champions 🥇while Addie and Flash were Reserve Champions 🥈in their respective divisions for the local association! I couldn’t be more proud of everything they have accomplished in the last year and I am looking forward to seeing these two talented young riders crushing their goals in 2024!

Fun day full of ponies!

First up were fairy Addie and unicorn Flash at Octoberfest, where they 🥇won🥇 their dressage! 👏🏻👏🏻 (costumes on point as well!)

Unfortunately Bella couldn’t make it to this one, so Annie took Luna for a spin at home instead. Word on the street is she’s stealing the ride from me 😋

When the show season wraps up and winter is on the horizon, it’s the perfect time to bring it back to basics. Work on technicality, precision, consistency. By the time the new year rolls around, you will be ready to put it all together!

Getting to be alongside riders as they work hard and reach their goals is the best part of the job.

So proud of Aubrey for making this year’s target, then going out there and giving it her all 💪🏼. Cherry on top is that she got to ride this journey with her heart horse Beckham, that although approaching retirement, at the young age of 25 he is still looking and feeling brand new 🥰

Long day, huge classes, and lots of smiles 😁 So proud to be a part of these girls’ journeys on their golden hearted partners!

Evelyn and Mr. Darcy came in 4th out of 24, at Darcy’s first “big boy” show in the big environment that is the Kentucky Horse Park 👏🏻

Aubrey and Beckham were 7th in the equitation over fences, in preparation for their finals on Sunday! 🙌🏻

Busy weekend for the younger members of the ESH crew!

▫️Aubrey and Beckham had a good last prep before the medal finals with ribbons in all their classes. They worked on their mental toughness and how to handle last minute show-day challenges and came out a stronger pair because of it 💪🏼

▫️Evelyn and Darcy moved up to a higher division at just their third show together and laid down solid courses. Evelyn is bringing along her young gentle giant beautifully 👏🏻

▫️Annie and Bella had a flawless day to bring home the win at Spring Run HT! They are nailing their homework and it shows in the competition ring 🥇

▫️Addison and Flash confidently tackled their toughest stadium and cross country courses to date, and came out in second place! 🥈

🏅Aubrey and Beckham continued on their preparation to the Medal Finals by winning both their Equitation Over Fences and the KHJA Medal!

Pole work has always been one of my most used tools in the tool box, whether it be while coaching or training. I find that pole work is a tool that is frequently forgotten or overlooked, which is a shame considering it can improve, teach, or fix almost anything!

Training a young TB? Poles.
Lead changes? Poles.
Adjustability? Poles.
Attention and reaction? Poles.
Quick feet? Poles.
Pace? Poles.
Lengthening? Poles.
Bascule? Poles.

Best part is you get the point across without added wear and tear on your horse’s legs! ✌🏻

It was a clean sweep for the Buehler sisters this weekend! With top four finishes during their Combined Tests on Saturday, they both came back on Sunday for the Horse Trial and rode amazingly to 🥇WIN 🥇both of their divisions!! Congrats girls!!

Aubrey and Beckham showed off all their hard work and their solid partnership, and came home with the champion tricolors after🥇winning🥇 both equitation trips! Combined with top placings in their hunter classes, and these two had a well earned successful day!

First horse show is in the books for this oversized baby horse, Mr. Darcy! Evelyn and Darcy have been working hard to put all the pieces together, and it’s not every day you see a 13 year old confidently piloting around a 6 year old TB at his very first show. So proud of these two and cannot wait to see all the things they tackle together in the future!

Perfect Mother’s Day spent doing one of my favorite things! Horse show time 😎 These two young riders make me so proud and I love watching them grow, learn, and succeed!

Addie continues to impress handling things for herself, by herself. When her partner took advantage of an “unfortunate puddle” in the sand box (as cited by the Dressage Judge 😂), she did not let it rattle her. Instead she went on to give AdamLaura Buehler a few gray hairs as she cantered around the entire cross country course!

Annie learned that hard work eventually pays off. She has been working hard to fine tune her dressage and paying attention to the details, and she came out 🥇winning 🥇the dressage in her large division! She is finding her pace and balance in show jumping, and confidently tackled the cross country course! 💪🏼

Congrats ladies!! 👏🏻👏🏻
