A dog killed a rabid skunk in Gravel Switch near the Boyle Marion County line then showed symptoms and had to be put down.

Hello fellow pet parents, As many of you are aware there is a mysterious respiratory doggie virus going around that resembles kennel cough and can quickly escalate into pneumonia.
In order to keep all of my four legged clients safe the following is effective immediately:
- all dogs must be up to date on vaccinations (no exceptions). Vets are highly recommending your dog also be current on the bordetella vaccine (also know as kennel cough vaccine). Documentation showing your dog’s current vaccinations will be required before their appt. You can also email a copy of their records to [email protected]
- If your dog is showing any symptoms such as cough, wheezing, nasal or eye drainage you will need to reschedule their appointment. No fee will be charged.
- If your dog is seen here in the salon with any of the above symptoms, they will be sent home immediately and fees will apply.
- Pet parents are expected to pick up their dog on time to avoid multiple dogs being here at one time.

Please note that I strive at keeping each and every client happy & healthy and extra precautions are in place including all equipment being disinfected between each client including tub, table, kennel, shears, blades, etc.

Dear Valued Clients,

First I would like to thank you all for being such amazing customers and supporting Polished Paws.

As business continues to grow I must make a few minor adjustments to better serve clients & their furry friends.

Starting Jan 1, 2022 there will be a slight price increase on services. This is due to the increase in cost for supplies and tools.

Prices will continue to be based on:
- size, breed, coat type, and services provided
- pet's behavior may also affect price
- please remember that the best way for me to care for your pet is having him/her on a 6-8 week schedule depending on breed and coat.

I appreciate each and every one of you and look forward to seeing you all in the new year!
