Update! As of today we have received $1700 in cash donations! You all are awesome! We went shopping this evening as stores are running low. I have secured 2 pallets of waters we will pick up tomorrow. We had several donations dropped off at the shop today! Thank you SO much!!

We still have plenty of room in the trailer!

As some of you may know my family is in Western North Carolina. We will be combining donations with the youth group Acts Alive and Kidz Dream Club and getting it to Western North Carolina. We have trucks and trailers to deliver.

If you would like to make a donation, please drop it off at Posh Paws Monday through Thursday from 7:30 to 4:00. Any basic necessities, waters, non-perishable food, toilet paper, cleaning supplies, paper towel, wet wipes, dipers, dog and cat food.

We can use the back of the truck for fuel donations.

I have a 16 foot enclosed trailer and a 16 foot horse trailer ready to fill up. I will keep you updated on where they go and who they go to.

If you would like to make a donation you can send it to my Venmo and Tag it for western NC and I will go to the store and get supplies with it. -cooper-109

We are excited to be offering a NEW obedience class!

Designed to solve a problem we are seeing many owners struggle with these days:

Dog Reactivity Class

Does your dog go NUTS when they see another dog? This class is for you!
Did you get kicked out of basic obedience class at the big box stores for barking, lunging and acting a fool? We can help!
Took a group class but didn't quite get the "ignoring other dogs" part? Yep, come join us!

Dog Reactivity class is designed to teach impulse control, leash skills and calmness around other dogs. Class will cover some basic obedience skills, but the primary focus is learning not to freak out when they see a dog 😆.

At the end of this 5 week class, owners should have the skills to enjoy taking their dog to the park, the beach and the vet without embarrassing episodes of Reactive behavior. Dogs should have the skills to join regular group classes if desired or needed.

Class starts on Monday, Sept 23rd at 6:30 pm. You must sign up via the client portal below. There are only 5 spaces in this class, it will fill very quickly. You will receive an email with info immediately after sign up. If you don't, check your spam folder or text Kat at 336-425-9677

*This class is NOT suitable for dogs with a bite history towards dogs or humans. Over-excited, over-stimulated, fixated dogs are welcome but dogs who have harmed a dog/person need special handling*

Dogs are notoriously bad at dissipating body heat. Watch for early signs of heatstroke, also known as hyperthermia, in your dog to avoid serious outcomes.

Happy Fathers Day to my dad who at 74 can still outwork any 25 year old. Loves and lives for his 8 children and 20 something grand children and now many great grandkids. My father in law who spoils us rotton and is always there when we need him and my husband Cory who provides all things, is the Best Dad to our girls, fun loving and attentive. So grateful to have these men in our life.
