Here comes the sun (& mud) doo-d-doo-doo🎵 It’s that time of year when your short planned barn trip turns into a several hours barn trip to remove all the caked on mud! We’re lucky to have hot-water in the wash racks for small areas and legs but check out some of our other tips for removing mud in cold temperatures!

Meet the Herd: Chit
Meet THIS IS ME aka “Chit,” a 7-year-old Thoroughbred gelding who has proven himself to be a remarkable competitor. In the 2021 RRP Thoroughbred Makeover competition, Chit distinguished himself by placing in the Top 5 in Show Hunters and Reserve Champion in Ranch Riding. Since then, his success has only grown, earning him numerous accolades including:
- KHJA Reserve Champion Beginner Horse 2021
- KHJA Champion Baby Green 2022
Chit has also garnered several awards through the Thoroughbred Incentive Program Performance Awards. He loves attention and is incredibly photogenic. We love having him and Heath Gunnison at the farm!
