We are offering a free private lesson for anyone who adopts a dog from the Davidson County Animal Shelter NC. Please take advantage of this and let us educate you to make sure the dog never has to return and live a happy life!!!

Today we received almost 20 animals in less than 4 hours. Only one of those animals was a stray, all others were surrendered by their owners with the full understanding that their pets could be euthanized at any moment. We understand some people might not have another choice but...

If you are needing to rehome your pet, please consider other options before surrendering them! You can search for and contact rescues all around North Carolina or use rehoming groups on Facebook.

If you have pets that are not fixed, PLEASE spay and neuter them before it's too late. You can pick up applications at the shelter for the SNIP DC program, which is only $75 for Davidson County residents!
