THIS COMING SATURDAY, November 23rd! FREE microchip event for Lexington County residents! This event is for dogs only (limit 3 per household) and we will be at Pelion Park from 9am-11am.
Also, if you have a spay/neuter appointment made we will have vouchers that will take a portion of the cost off!

Meet Sarina! She is one of our long term adoption dogs that would LOVE to have a home for the holidays! Sarina is a year and a half old spayed Black & Tan Hound/Rottweiler mix that loves to play with her doggie friends and she loves to get all of the love from her human friends as well! Stop on by and make a fur friend for LIFE!

WHOA! ANOTHER FREE EVENT! Lexington County Animal Services is excited to partner with Animal Mission of the Midlands Pawmetto Lifeline and the The Humane Society of the United States!

We are planning our next event for November 23rd 2024. This event will be for DOGS only and with a limit of 3 dogs per house hold.

At this event there will be Rabies Vaccine vouchers. This pays for the rabies inoculation of ONE pet. You would take this voucher, with your pet to 405 Greenlawn Drive, Columbia, SC 29209.

We will also be giving out sterilization vouchers. These vouchers help reduce the cost of getting Lexington county residents pets spayed/neutered. To receive one of these vouchers you must show proof of appointment for sterilization and a valid ID.

Our "Gobble Til You Wobble" adoption event begins tomorrow! All adoption fees will be reduced to $10 and if they have been here for over 30 days, the fee will be WAIVED!! (limit 2 per household)
"Korbin" is one of our special long term adoption dogs that would LOVE to have a home for the holidays. This beautiful guy is so much fun and would make a great addition to any family! Stop on by and meet him. He is fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, and is on monthly preventative🐾🧡

What would make Thanksgiving even better? Having a new fur baby to love🧡We will be running our "Gobble Til You Wobble" Thanksgiving adoption event beginning Saturday, November 16th and it will run through Saturday, November 30th! All adoption fees will be reduced to $10! Any pet that has been here for over 30 days the fee will be WAIVED!! (limit 2 per household) All pets are fully vaccinated, microchipped, and have been spayed/neutered. If you have a dog of your own and want to make sure that they get along you are welcome to bring them by as well to do a "meet and greet"! We are here M-F 11-5 and Sat 9-3🦃

We had a great time today at the Lexington County public library Gaston location with some of our sweet adoption pups. Several even found their furever homes!🥹❤️🐾

We were honored to be a part of Deerfield Elementary School vehicle career day along with several other Lexington County agencies! The kids were all so well behaved and we had a great time!

We recently had a young Red-eared Slider come into our facility named Charlie Brown due to his owner passing away. Due to this species of turtles being invasive, he cannot be released. Charlie Brown is approximately 5-6 inches in diameter and will need a good size habitat. He has the cutest little curious personality!

She will be able to explain what is necessary to care for this species of turtle and will make sure that it is a good match!

If you love long walks, hiking, and adventures then we have the PERFECT dog for you! Meet Moose!! This handsome guy is very strong and is desperately waiting for a family to call his own. He is a 2 year old neutered Lab/Boxer mix. He is current on all vaccines and is on preventative. Stop by our shelter and you will fall in love with this handsome guy🐾

Join the Humane Society South Carolina for their annual fundraiser. November 3rd 2024 located at 107 W. Main St. Lexington SC. 29072. Known as the ICEHOUSE AMPHITHEATER.

LCAS will be on site with adoptable pets! All proceeds go towards helping animals in need and supporting the mission to end animal cruelty, neglect and overpopulation.

Sweet "Paxten" patiently waiting for his TV debut at ABC Columbia! He is the perfect sweet angel face! He has the BEST manners and is amazing with other dogs! He is growing up at the shelter😭He has been with us since he was just 3 months old! We have him as a neutered Dutch shepherd mix and he is now 8 months old. We are still running our Halloween special. All adoption fees are $10 and if the dog has been with us for over 30 days (like Paxten) the fee is WAIVED!!
