Hero's Rogue x Hero's Johnny Sorrow
This was the only surviving Holland this round but it is a matchup we are really looking forward to. This is Johnny's first litter and we are excited to see if he produces as well as his brother Rocket. We love a beautiful blanket pattern.

I didn't keep track of all the results at The Kentucky State Rabbit Breeders Association state convention in Somerset, but I do know we got a best of variety and best opposite variety in both breeds and another class win besides that. It was a wonderful facility and they got through a large number of rabbits and cavies fairly quickly. The best part of the show was getting to see so many rabbit friends again especially those who came a long way. Of course Roe Williams was the one everyone was the most excited to see. It was exciting to show her so many rabbits that have her line in them and the BOV, BOSV, class winner were among them. Very excited to send off Happy Hills General and Quietcreek's Savage Kiss to a new family and hope they continue to produce some great Hollands for them. Hero's Guppy went along with them after placing third in a tough class in her very first show.
We really hope all of the Holland family that came from out of state comes back next year. Those who did, try to talk another breeder to come along next time. Let's make this a Holland Lop family reunion between nationals and convention.

We will have multiple proven bucks, a proven doe and a few juniors available at the Kentucky State convention this Saturday. This guy here, Happy Hill's General one of them. Many of our show herd go back to him. He is the sire and grand sire of multiple grand champion eligible rabbits and is the great grand sire of the newest star on the show team Hero's Mystique.

Made a last minute decision to go to the Georgetown, Kentucky show and it worked out pretty well.
Hero's Mystique finally broke through to win more than her class and at 4 and a half months old won a best of breed and a best opposite breed. We have thought she was special since she got out of the nest box and it's nice to see others agree.
Hops of Happiness Copper swapped places with Mystique and got the other best of breed and best opposite breed.
Hero's Noodles, an otter junior buck made his show debut and earned a class win.
Hero's Kolibra was best opposite variety in show A.
For Polish, Willow Woods W274 (Chubb) managed to pull off another best of breed win.

As many of you may know, our good friend Averi Johnson from Ginger Ridge Rabbitry is sadly getting out of rabbits for a while. We miss you but we are so excited to see what is next for you! I hope that you make your way back into showing someday and I'll be right there to help you start back up.
That being said, we have Hero's Damiela and GRR's & Hero's Loki back. Later I will post about both of these rabbits stories that made them even more special to not only Dad and I but also to Averi and her family.
