I know a lot of people are concerned about this “new” respiratory disease. I can assure you we are doing everything we can to protect your pets—including exams in cars for coughing dogs. Here is some information about this disease:

From Oregon Department of Agriculture:

Syndrome A: Chronic mild-moderate tracheobronchitis of “prolonged duration” (6-8 weeks), minimally or un-responsive to “antibiotics.” (NS-not specified)

Reportedly manifests as nonproductive cough -”barking/hacking” similar to kennel cough.

Syndrome B: Chronic pneumonia minimally or un-responsive to “antibiotics.” (NS)

Syndrome C: Acute pneumonia with rapid onset and progression, potentially fatal within 24-36 hours.
