But wait! There’s more fun pix from the show! Our riders were all business - and then there were some shenanigans too! Special recognition to our Miss Ellie, who chose not to ride, yet showed up to offer amazing help! She took on new tasks with gusto! From tacking up, grooming, warming up Heidi, running for the forgotten whip- you name she was on it!
Huge thanks to all our Bay View family,riders, parents and grandparents and friends for making this a memorable weekend!

Bay View Stables would like to thank hosting barn True Hart for a great show today. The highlight was having Kathryn Rodowsky Taylor as judge. Her critiques were simply fantastic for our riders growth! We took nine riders and each had individual exponential growth! We are so proud of each team today!

What great riding this week. 2 riders officially learned how to ride in double reins for the first time this week and 2 riders have officially learned how to ride in full bridles now! Way to ride! Loving show camp

Horse Show Camp -Day 3- Cool ride on the trail! Our campers brought their skills today! We also had early lessons then snacks/ water breaks and craft time. We even had time to hand graze and give Sophie a spa day! Rest up, as tomorrow we ride!

Horse Show Camp - Day 2- Our campers are Tough! Not one complaint of the heat or the blazing sun. Instead they showed up to work, learn, ride and ride they did! An awesome day of bridle work, leg work, and ring maneuvering. We did fit in gatorade/water breaks, watermelon snacks and of course lunch and craft time. You know the kids are enjoying themselves when camp day is ending and they don’t want to leave. Tomorrow, we ride.

Camp is $500. Hours are 9:00-2:00. Spots are limited.

We had a wonderful show at Blowing Rock and it was extra special for our very loved Alex Godlewski. Alex started riding with us our very first year as we began our program. Imagine how proud we are to be a part of her journey from Academy to Performance and coaching “ on the rail” to heading up Christy in her driving class. Alex had wonderful rides Friday, graduated high school ( class of 2024) on Saturday and returned to finish the show strong on Sunday! Alex, We all love you and are so very proud of you and proud you are a part of the Bay View family!

It was a long grueling wait… but it sure was worth that wait!!!! Ellie placed fourth out of a competitive class of 10 in her equitation class, then turned around and placed second in her showmanship class. We are so proud of you, Ellie- way to ride, girl!

We rescued our beloved Moose from a kill pen 2.5 years ago… we always knew he’d make a great lesson horse.. but never did we realize he’d babysit the littles the way he does. We love him beyond measures and forever grateful for this wonderful, patient, brave soul! Also, YOU ROCK JAMES!
