The Humane Society of Davidson County is a non-profit, no-kill volunteer organization dedicated to the welfare of animals and residing in Davidson County, North Carolina. We have educated the public about the needs of animals, and promoted laws that benefit animals. Over the years, we have saved the lives of thousands of unwanted puppies and kittens, thereby working to reduce the serious problem of overpopulation.

“Penny” here 🐾😊 ❤️🐾.
Guess what I’ll be at THRIFTY PAWS ON FRIDAY FROM 2 to 4.
Come have a Meet and greet with me 🐾❤️” Penny “ 🐾 I’m under 3 years old, I’m a Shar - pei / Staffordshire mix. I weigh in at 45 lbs.
🥰 A very kind person found me in the cold with frost bitten feet. She took me in and I’ve been treated but I’m still healing from being left in the cold and malnourished. 🐾🙏🏻🐾 I recently obviously had a litter of puppies, but I’ll be getting my girlish figure back soon. The Vet has checked me out and I’m doing better but not spayed yet. 😱 That will be coming. I’m not real fond of the other foster dog I’m living with . I think I would like to be the only dog . I LOVE people and I know basic commands. I’m house broken, crate trained and I’m really very smart.
Won’t you please come out and see me FRIDAY at THRIFTY PAWS FROM 2 to 4?
My foster mom is the best, but I want my own forever family.

3 sibling kittens looking for warm laps to call their own
All born in August 2024. The black/white and the grey are boys and the calico is a girl.
They’re all very cute, cuddling, friendly and are amazing with kids.
All 3 are litter box trained. One is scheduled for spay/ neuter.
