The Humane Society of Davidson County is a non-profit, no-kill volunteer organization dedicated to the welfare of animals and residing in Davidson County, North Carolina. We have educated the public about the needs of animals, and promoted laws that benefit animals. Over the years, we have saved the lives of thousands of unwanted puppies and kittens, thereby working to reduce the serious problem of overpopulation.

🙋🏼‍♂️ Hi everyone out there, I’m a stray that has been lost and all alone BUT I’m now being helped by a sweet nurse, but she can’t keep me. Please share and help me find a wonderful home. I’m a pit/lab mix I’m about 55 lbs , grey and brown, I haven’t been fixed yet but HSDC can help me with that! The nurse that found me says I am “an absolute sweetheart, loves to be inside ( can you tell I’m a couch potato 😂?) and has interacted great with other dogs small and large breeds! “ He has also been around cats this week and has not been aggressive towards them at all!

We will be displaying our luminarias, refreshments, live music, fire pit. Santa is planning a surprise visit for Family & Animal Photos. The Thrifty Paws store will be open for shopping & Holiday Specials.

If you would like to Honor or In Memory of a Friend/Family or Furbaby, you can pick up a Luminaria Display Form at Thrifty Paws .
