Rambo’s going to the Auction tomorrow! 🥩Come on down and bid on him. Auction starts at 6:15. Oliver’s put so much work into him that he won the Rate of Gain contest by putting on 537lbs in 132 days!!

The average price of Beef is $8.50lb which would be $7,145/steer.

Come buy a steer at a county fair!

If the average price was 1.92/lb on steer $2496
+ $600 butcher= $3096/ steer or $4.73lbs

If you’re willing to pay $7,145 to support Walmart and Tyson why would you not spend that to support a local youth?!

🎡 It’s Fair Time!! Come and show some support to all these kids who’ve been working so hard all year for this one week! Oliver has a steer and Emma has two horses. Stop on by and say hi! We’ll be down here at the 4-H Clark County Fairgrounds all week!

Oliver was able to win first place again at the Kentucky Taxidermist Association this weekend bringing home another blue ribbon and the Eaton award for youth!! We couldn’t be more proud!

Oliver won first place for youth!!! He also ended up winning the Horizon award which is given to a first time competitor that scores the highest points regardless of division.

Opening weekend was somewhat successful. One of the seven of us hunting was able to fill her tag! The others are still hard at it. I hope everyone stayed safe over the weekend hunting. Give us a call at 812-293-4952 if you were also successful and want to get your trophy mounted.

The kids had a pretty successful opening day of youth turkey!

A customer came in with this Tiger Muskie from 1990 and wanted some restoration work done on it. After fixing a few fins, doing some work around the gills and a new paint job it’s as good as new!

Another perfect mount from Woods Family Taxidermy, Adam and his dad Allen never disappoint in my opinion they are simply the best hands down. If you are a hunter and are not having them do your mounts you should give them a try I know you wont be disappointed. Thanx again guys I love it!!!
