North Farm is a small, urban vegetable and fruit farm located on North Limestone in the NoLi section of Lexington, Ky. Started by Andrew Russell English, a long-time Lexington resident, farmer, musician and electrician, the farm is an effort to make good use of good land for the purposes of growing good food for the people in the neighborhood and community in which it is located.

We've decided not to offer a farm share for the 2021 season, but we will still be growing for some of our neighborhood markets and restaurants. If you'd like a farm share, we highly recommend Woodhill International Market (https://www.lexlf.org/woodhill-international-market) and Black Soil's farm share (https://www.shopblacksoilky.com/product/produce-with-a-purpose-farm-share/72). Both are Lexington-based.

Hey, friends! Wanted to write a quick note about how to keep your fresh basil FRESH. Trim the ends, and store it at room temperature with the stem(s) in water like you would fresh flowers. Just be sure to keep all leaves from touching the water. Don't refrigerate. That causes the leaves to turn dark like they've been cursed.
