đź“Ś If you have logged entries online for your Performance Awards or mailed forms or results for PA verification - a status report is posted at https://tjctip.com/About/TBPAF. This includes mail received through 12/10.

In the list starting on page 4, issues with online entries are indicated by a colored number. The key to the numbers is on page 1 of the document. Information relevant to the listed issues is on pages 2 and 3 – please review this information if you have questions about the number listed next to your horse’s name. The list is sorted by the horse’s show name.

If there is a number beside your horses name in the columns labeled “Action Required” then there is an issue with your entry that needs to be addressed by December 20, 2024.

If there is not a number, then no issues were noted.

This status report may not contain all errors and issues; the submitting owner or rider is responsible for verifying the accuracy and completeness of their own reporting. This list is being provided as a courtesy and the status of online entries will not be updated again. An updated list of mailed forms received will be posted at a later date.

All online entries must be submitted by December 20.

All hardcopy entries and results verification must be postmarked by December 20.

A few scenes from today!

The costume class was AWESOME and so fun - we couldn’t believe the creativity in all the costumes! Harry Potter the horse with his lightning bolt star was so clever and Thing 1 and Thing 2 were playing tricks on the cat in the hat. Competitive Trail; Dressage, and the Welcome Party rounded out the day. Can’t wait for Friday!

Congratulations to our second T.I.P. Young Rider of the Year: Ashlyn Tate

Ashlyn and her horse Pansy qualified for both National Junior High Finals Rodeo and National High School Finals Rodeo and have held the state championship for heading in team roping for two years in a row. Ashlyn plans on using the award to attend events and educational opportunities to further her involvement with horses.

Ashlyn says: “The reason for my success is Pansy, she may not be the typical rodeo mount, but still to this day, she proves herself against finished barrel and pole horses every day! Each day, I push myself to stay consistent with my goals in order to live life to the fullest. The T.I.P. Young Rider of the Year Award will support my ambitions in every way possible because of the extraordinary opportunities it will bring!”

Pansy (Silver Train – Aquatint) is a 2014 mare bred in Pennsylvania by Elizabeth R. Houghton that retired from the track in 2020 after 48 starts with 5 wins, 5 seconds, and 12 thirds, earning $180,464.

Congratulations to our first 2024 T.I.P. Young Rider of the Year: Madison Hightower

Madison owns her horse, Happy Go Lucky, and aspires to one day compete in the Olympics, so her plans are to allocate the award towards lessons with Julio Mendoza, a 2024 Olympic dressage rider and trainer.

She says, “Just as Happy previously evented and then searched for his new purpose, I found my purpose in my partnership with him. I will continue to dedicate my life to caring for him and growing with him both in and out of the ring. It is my hope that other young riders who see our story will consider a Thoroughbred for their equestrian journey.”

Happy Go Lucky is registered as Class Happening (Hap – Class Promise). He is a 17-year-old gelding bred in Virginia by Mede Cahaba Stable & Stud LLC that ran unplaced in three starts at both Laurel Park and Colonial Downs.

The Jockey Club Thoroughbred Incentive Program (T.I.P.) and Stable View are disappointed to announce that the T.I.P. Championships at Stable View, originally scheduled for this weekend, have been rescheduled to October 24 - 27, 2024.

As many participants are aware, Stable View has a reputation for not deferring or cancelling events; however, due to the extensive recovery effort being undertaken in the community of Aiken after Hurricane Helene, the circumstances are so extreme that the decision was made to reschedule. A full refund will be available to all competitors who find this date unmanageable. In addition, T.I.P. Championships declarations and entries will re-open, providing an opportunity to participate in the event to those who may not have been able to make the originally scheduled dates.

All scratches must be communicated via email to [email protected] by Friday, October 4th. These entries will be refunded.

Those not requesting a full refund will have their entry transferred to the new weekend.

For new entries, please use evententries.com. If you also need to declare your horse for T.I.P. Championships, please visit tjctip.com/About/CSF for a link to the declaration form. New declarations and entries will close October 15, 2024.

T.I.P. and Stable View are sorry for the inconvenience this will cause. Safety and offering a good quality event are of paramount importance to T.I.P and Stable View. Not having electricity and thus no running water and the state of the roads and the immense impact of Hurricane Helene on our surrounding community are significant areas of concern. Please accept our apologies and will transfer your entry to the new date.
