(12)

12/01/2022

Full retirement is getting closer. Full Fan Taxidermy will officially closed on December 31. Any customers that have mounds that have not been picked up or no deposit will have till the end of the month to get with me and get settled up on those. I will be doing a very limited amount per year for establish customers that are working on the grand slam and have had previous birds done. After 46 used in the taxidermy field and 15 years full time it is time to try to enjoy life. Have met a lot of great people, and made some really good friends over the years.
Thanks to everyone. Just a little word of wisdom. Don’t get caught up in the hunt. The memories will last forever.

The end of a era is about to close. As most of you know I retired back in May. This is the next to last load of birds going to Ohio. Ohio is filled with a bunch of Dumbnuts(Ky slag for Buckeye’s). I can’t thank all of my customers from they enoough.

This is a a bitter sweet day. As a lot of you may know I retired back in May. To draw that little check every month at lease.
I just turned 65 on Wednesday and after being in the taxidermy field for 44 years it is time to step away. Now with that being said most likely will never quit. Still have birds to finish up in the shop now. Will be taking in no more than 10 a year and only for establish customers that I’m working on there Grand Slam. Will also be helping a friend out who has a full-time shop and is somewhat behind on doing his turkeys.
I can’t thank everyone enough that has made Full Fan Taxidermy what it has become. I have made many friends over the past 44 years due to taxidermy. Just remember “Call and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things…”Jem33:3
