Paws 4 the Cause is non profit organization dedicated to rescuing animals from extreme situations!

We are currently developing our community center in downtown Lexington which will feature an expanded kennel area and low cost spay/neuter. 100% of all donations go directly to pay for outreach housing, food and medical needs for stray and indigent animals, and to help other organizations who participate in such needs. URGENT LOST SCARED DOG !!! GEORGETOWN.. Foster dog Bruno got out yesterday from his foster home. He is extremely skittish and goes to women more then men. You have go all the way down to the flor for him to come to you. DO NOT CHASE. He won’t bite and is not aggressive towards anybody, just saying if he’s spotted a female would have a better chance at catching him or having him come up to them.
Last seen in The Colony off of Cornwallis Drive. He was last seen running up King George towards the apartments at the top of that hill. He was believed to have gone into the wooded area back there in Georgetown.

Last night was an amazing honor to watch 9 people receive award for their hard work in the community. We so proud of one of our own Remy Simpson our President and Founder.... We want to share with you his shining moment !!! We really are very excited the CivicLex is hosting an event on Jan25,2025 called the Lexington Unsung Hero Awards..... Remy Simpson, our President of Paws 4 the Cause , was nomineed by two individuals that love him so much and out of 80 plus people Remy won hands down. Their are 9 people being honored that evening. Our hearts are so overjoyed by this news!!! A even bigger surprise is that the Huame Society of Kentcky on February 14,2025 will also be handing out an award to Remy Simpson. Remy is just overwhelmed with the news and we look so forward to honoring him for the years of service he has done in Kentucky in the animal rescue world. Remy has rescued and transported 1000's upon 1000's to safe heavens in the pass years since he founded Paws 4 the Cause.... Let us all let him know how we all feel leave a comment below...

Meet Jilly! 💗🐾💗 Jilly is a very sweet 8 month to 1 year old beagle/Lab mix. Since she’s young she can be energetic at times and needs love and attention. Loves children. Loves to play with other dogs. She’s house trained, good in a crate, is spayed, up to date on shots and heartworm tested negative. She also loves to snuggle and be loved on. She will make a great addition to your family!

Snow day!!! We have amazing girls who care our rescues at the kennel everyday just like the mail carriers come out in all kinds of weather. You Rock Ladies !!!! The rock stars are the guys that have come to our aid shoveling and plowing our kennel so we can contuine to save lives everyday !!!! Meet Griffin! 💙🐾💙 Another heartbreaking story and we could not say no. Griffin is a 9 month old male lab mix in need of a foster home. Found abandoned with eight others at a home (we have his brother Kye as well). They made it through the snow and ice storm an we were able to pull them before the frigid temperatures got worse! They get along with other dogs and deserve a loving home!
