She has trained and shown her own dogs to multiple titles in obedience, Rally obedience, tracking, agility, and field. She has been teaching since 2000. You never know what types of distractions you will run into during our City Canine Class ! Tango took it in stride 😍

Recalls and place training aren’t just for dogs. Many of you know I like to feed the squirrels when I get up in the morning. I call this one Rocky. (I know I generally say not to show the treat when you’re calling your dog, but my criteria is different for Rocky, and he’s a squirrel).

Our Story

Chris Miara has a Master's degree in Behavioral Science and held a license at the Master's level in Clinical Psychology for over 25 years. She now concentrates solely on working with dogs . She has trained and shown her own dogs to multiple titles in obedience, Rally obedience, tracking, agility, dock diving, and field and began teaching in 2000. She specializes in dog aggression, dog behavior problems, is a Certified Dog Behavior Consultant through the IAABC, and a Family Paws Educator . She believes each dog and family are unique, and uses positive behavior modification techniques when personalizing training methods for you and your dog.
