New This Week: Evening U-Pick at The FARM

We’re trying something new — and we think you’ll love it.

Join us Tuesday (7/8) evening from 6p - 7:30pm for our very first sunset U-pick. Cooler temps. Golden hour light. And a chance to slow down and soak up summer.

Whether you’re coming with the kids or meeting friends for a reset, we’ll have cold drinks for sale and plenty of space to roam.

No reservation needed — come pick blueberries and sunflowers.

Because the only thing better… is picking them without breaking a sweat.

New for 2025: Fishing at The FARM 🐟

You asked, and we listened—our 2025 membership now includes access to fishing on designated days and areas of the farm. It’s peaceful, it’s private, and it’s one more way to connect with the land.

That said—we need to be clear about something important.

We are a working farm with active land management, including a depredation permit for deer hunting and participation in SCDNR’s Property Watch program. This means we cannot have unapproved visitors walking the property, especially to fish. It’s not safe, and it’s not permitted.

Trespassing isn’t just a policy issue—it’s a safety risk.

We know it’s tempting when you see a pond and a quiet spot, but please don’t take that chance.

If you love this place and what we’re doing—support it.

A membership helps us maintain this land, care for the animals, and now… offer more perks like this.

Become a member, and we’ll share the gate codes so you can fish safely!

Today we’re reminded that America’s freedom was brought forth by ordinary people. Farmers & other tradesmen who picked up their muskets to stand up for what they believed in.

We owe our stars and stripes not just to grand speeches, but to the grit and sacrifice of everyday folks who tended fields by day and defended liberty by night.

This land is rooted in that same spirit of independence, self-reliance, and courage.

Today I got to visit my friend Melissa over at , and it was exactly what my heart—and my sugar-loving children—needed. Naturally, she pulled ice cream out of the freezer, which immediately made her farm the preferred destination in my boys’ eyes. Hard to compete with a scoop, y’all.

Melissa is also the reason I fell in love with pink lemonade blueberries. Yes, that’s a real thing. Yes, they’re as magical as they sound. And because I’m trying to prevent a full-blown chef showdown between Brian at Keg Cowboy and Chris at Roy’s Grill, I had to go source some extras.

This is it, folks—the pink lemonade blueberry season is short and sweet. You’ll want to run (not walk) to either restaurant this weekend to get a taste before they’re gone. And no, you can’t u-pick these at our farm—but you can at hers. I’ve got about six years to catch up to Melissa’s blueberry game.

In the meantime, I’ll just keep pretending I’m the favorite farm mom until someone else shows up with sprinkles.
