Harper Ridge is a family owned Thoroughbred breeding and restarting business.

Here at Harper Ridge we specialize in breeding top quality horses for the racing
industry. Harper Ridge also provides a restart program to OTTB"S looking to
move into the next chapter of their career. Our broodmares are selected based
on certain criteria and not always for their race record. Our mares reside in KY
and are looked after by the wonderful Watershed Equine and Tracey Keeler,
while o

ur rescues head to NC for restarting under the careful and watchful eye
of Crystal Dunlap. We work together with wonderful professionals in each field
to ensure a bright and full future for our wonderful horses. We have been rescuing and restarting thoroughbreds since July of 2009
starting with Harper, who happens to be the namesake of our farm. This year
will be the first year we are dipping our fingers into the breeding pool so wish
us luck in this new chapter of the Harper Ridge

Ok. So we are offering this filly as a BM prospect. She had dirty xrays at the sale. We broke her and she is completely sound but she doesn't have the temperament as a riding horse. Her half brother sold for 1.45 million at the 2yr old sales.. she's a half to a stakes placed horse and physically shes beautiful. We feel that she would be best represented as a broodmare if kicked out this year. If interested please let us know. She's currently in the pasture just chilling with her buddies.

Yearling filly by Improbable out of the war front mare Destine. This filly is a half sister to a stakes winner. Not only that. The 3yr old brother sold for 1.4 million as a 2yr old and just pulled a bullet work in Sept. She's beautiful and ready for breaking. Has great residual value as a broodmare.
