We are all set up in the Ford Dealerβs Barn. We are in the aisle next to the McGees at the wash rack side. Itβs hot and to allow better air flow, we didnβt put up our banner ups, but we are here! Stalls 1457-1460.
Cappy, Dr. Dryden and the rest of #teamburoak got underway bright and early this morning. They are headed to the 6666 Ranch NRHA Derby!
Dr. Caroline Faria is already on the show grounds and ready to see everyone. Visit her in barn 3 (stalls 3051-3059). The rest of the crew will arrive later this afternoon.

Dan James of Double Dan Horsemanship issued a speed challenge to the Double Dan Insiders, so of course we had to take it one step further and do husband vs wife and brother vs brother. Dr. Dryden finished in 39 seconds and Cappy in 47 seconds.

Did you know a horse can develop arthritis in its neck? Horses with neck arthritis may present with poor performance, unexplained resistance to turning one direction or even as an undiagnosed forelimb lameness. Dr. Vernon Dryden Dvm Cjf is injecting the articular facets if this horseβs neck using ultrasound guidance.
Medical grade maggots are an excellent tool we often employ to help debride complex foot wounds. Here they are, hard at work, in this horseβs foot. The maggots are processed to be sterile when they are introduced to a wound and will vacate the lesion in 5-6days once their work is complete.
