It’s been brought to our attention that there is a new dog fighting ring in the Lexington and Frankfort area that is trolling free dog to good home ads. They are trying to pick dogs for bait dogs. They are also stealing cats to use as bait. These individuals are very good of making you feel that you’re giving away your dog to a good home. Read words from an actual “dog fighter” as they describe the process of trolling for bait dogs on the picture below. Please share and alert authorities if you hear or see anything suspicious. 🐶😡😭🚫

FALKOR IS STILL LOOKING FOR HIS FOREVER HOME!!

This is Falkor, a young 10-12 month old lab/bassett mix with an infectious spirit. Falkor is not just playful, he's also incredibly smart, quickly picking up on new commands and tricks. He needs a family that fits his high energy level. Despite his short legs he loves going through the agility course and learning new agility skills while bouncing everywhere!! When he plays he gives it everything he’s got so he tires out fast. He will stop playing to tell you that he wants to go back to his bed for a nap. But, don't let the videos fool you, he might look like a ball of fire that never goes out while playing with his friends but Falkor loves nothing more than to cuddle up after a day of fun. At 1 1/2 years old, he can be energetic at times and loves to talk to you!! Very loving. He is neutered, up to date on shots and heartworm tested negative. He loves to play, and would be a great companion and family member. He is currently staying at Keshlyn Kennel and is doing wonderful…he is a really great boarder but a kennel is not a home. Happy Monday!! We hope everyone had a wonderful and safe 4th of July. The weekend went really well for the campers!! Lots of tv, fans blowing, calming music, puzzle games, and of course the fun game of how many dogs can fit in my lap at one time every time it thundered or yet another firework went off.
