Dolly is learning the ropes of camp life with the help of Clementine and Libra. She watches them play and she almost starts to join in but still a little nervous. For now she just watches them run while hanging with one of our girls getting some extra TLC!! 💕🐶❄️🥰🐾

Nadji 🐾 has been a camper here at Keshlyn and has loved 💕 going out and playing in the snow ❄️. He loves the attention from the girls and knows how to sit pretty for extra treats 🫐. It's always smiles 😁 here at camp!

Darla’s vacation at camp is coming to an end. She’s been such a wonderful and happy camper!! She’s made tons of friends both big and small. I bet when she gets home she’ll sleep for 12 hours straight…it’s called a kennel hangover!! 🐶🤣💕🐾

UPDATE: MAJOR HAS BEEN ADOPTED!!

Major is a 170 pound, 18 month old pure Great Dane. He is neutered and up to date on everything. His previous owners were elderly and not able to keep him and surrendered him to Paws 4 The Cause. We took him in at Keshlyn and thought we had his forever home found…unfortunately his fosters other dog is not accepting a new dog. This is the only reason his fosters are not adopting him. He will be coming back to Keshlyn very soon and we don’t want to see this big love bug have to stay in the kennel. Please share to everyone!! Here are words directly from his foster family describing Major:

“Major (formerly known as Mayhem) is a near perfect Doggo. He has impeccable manners, self awareness, and the sweetest disposition. He has never been aggressive, has never tried to taste food from the counters, does not beg, does not bark unnecessarily, does not whine in his crate, has not chewed on a single thing in our house, doesn’t lick (he does drool), doesn’t tear up toys, has a very gentle mouth, and listens when told no and sit ( stay, he needs to work on). He is fully house trained (and crate-trained) although the crate seems unnecessary. He hasn’t done anything wrong. If left alone, he will jump up on the couch, but that is his only vice and he makes himself as small as he can while he is on the couch 😂 We were worried he would knock things over with his tail bc of his size and previous experience, but he has been incredibly agile and knows where he is in a space, never creating “mayhem.” He is respectful of our small dog… and while he wants to play, once he realized his play partner was not interested in playing, he was very easy to divert. Although our dog has been aggressive towards him, he has never retaliated. Our yard is not fenced and we have a 4 foot temporary fence… he has never tried to jump it or escape. My wife and I are able to walk him with basically no issues. he is still a puppy and needs more leash work. He is able to sleep late (we have been sleeping til 9 am during the snow storm) without potty accidents. He eats well 2x daily and his new diet seems to be doing wonders for his skin. The only advice we would give is to be ready to wipe his mouth after he drinks. He does drool after drinking, but that is the only time and if you wipe his mouth, he is fine and doesn’t get drool all over the house. He would love a playmate, but I think he would also be fine as an only dog. He is calm, kind, and eager to please. He loves his humans. He makes himself as small as possible to accommodate small quarters but we would love for him to have a space to roam, outside and in. A fenced in yard would be good for him, however, he loves his walks and does fine without a place to roam free right now while we have been waiting on our fence to be installed. He sleeps most of the day and is very calm. If our pug wasn’t such a drama king, we would happily keep him, however, the pug has stopped eating and is very angry and depressed. I think Major would be the perfect dog for any family… kids, cats, dogs (big or small), men, etc. He is a rockstar and deserves a rockstar home. “

HELP OZZY FIND A FOREVER HOME!!

Ozzy is a very sweet and loving husky with blue eyes. He loves people and being a companion. At 1 1/2 years old, he can be energetic at times and loves to talk to you!! Very loving. He is neutered, up to date on shots and heartworm tested negative. He loves to play, and would be a great companion and family member. He is currently staying at Keshlyn Kennel and has been doing wonderful. I have absolutely no complaints about him…he is a really great boarder and also a great playmate with the other dogs. In his run he is very quiet and very clean. He loves to talk when outside and playing with another dog. Please share his post!! He needs a foster and/or forever home!!

It’s just like the old days!! Yes we are open till 6:00. Due to the weather it’s just myself and my mom running things today. When you get here to pick your dog up please call us or you can simply press our ring doorbell. Give us a few minutes to open the office for you. Very few cars have gone down the road but we have had a customer make it safely. Thanks!!
