What is currently happening in Equine medicine. It IS a crisis, and we are loosing good equine practitioners every day for life style and financial reasons. We at Foxwood are so lucky to have absolutely amazing clients who do not take advantage of us, but many of our fellow equine vets are not.

We are so so excited to welcome Dr. Hannah Jarvis to the Foxwood family!!!

Dr. Hannah grew up in San Diego and graduated from UC Davis with her undergraduate degree in Animal Science and Management. She then attended the Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in St. Kitts and spent her clinical year at the Universiry of Florida! After school, Dr. Hannah completed an internship at Virginia Equine Imaging while learning about sports medicine and advanced diagnostic imaging.

During her school years, Dr. Hannah rode on eventing and dressage teams, served on United States Pony Club National Youth Congress and Board, worked as a small animal tech and groomed for FEI trainers. In addition to her extracurricular activities, Dr. Hannah developed interests in emergency and regenerative medicines, diagnostic imaging and acupuncture. She is a permitted FEI treating veterinarian and a member of ISELP.

When she’s not busy working, Dr. Hannah likes to explore nature, read, practice yoga, eat tacos, ride and laugh while spending time with her friends, family and animals.

We can’t wait for everyone to get to know Dr. Hannah!! Look for her at any of the upcoming Kentucky horse shows

Coolidge, we know that you have succeeded at most things that you try, but we do recommend you go to veterinary school before trying to analyze your own ultrasounds!

Awesome first check up on the big boy, including assessing his soundness (sound), flexions (negative), and suspensory (healing). We are so lucky to have Dr. Heather Woodruff from Foxwood Equine Sports Medicine on our team to guide us, and also give her seal of approval to Coolidge as a "good boy."

Onwards and upwards!
