It’s going to be a HOT 🥵 HOLIDAY WEEKEND in a good portion of Region 10.

Here are tips to stay cool 😎 and beat the heat:

*** Remember, your horse is affected by heat, too. Ground work, grooming, bathing 🧽 🫧 lessons may be great alternatives to riding lessons. Also, take a moment to inform your students about keeping horses hydrated and happy when the mercury rises. 🌡
🍎🍉🥕🥭 💦

As temperatures rise: Stay Cool. Stay Hydrated. Stay Informed. For info to beat the heat visit: emergency.cdc.gov/disasters/extremeheat.

This isn't something you see every day across SoCal! The Storm Prediction Center has issued a Marginal Risk (level 1 out of 5) for severe t-storms across the mountains/deserts for Wed. The main threats will be lightning and strong winds. Stay weather aware and have reliable ways to receive weather warnings!
