I'm Daisy May. I'm about 10 months old and am a French Bulldog and Great Pyrenees mix. Let me tell you what that means. It means I'm a breed EVERYONE wants (French Bulldog) without the hard time breathing. And it means I'm going to be VERY loyal (Pyrenees) and devoted. I'm Tigress. Now that I've no kids to protect, I'm much mellower. I give way to the other cats because, well, we all know "I" don't have to prove I'm tough. I also love to play. I mean, REALLY love to play!! Flying feathers are my favorite! I'll still lay you open if you pet me once more than I like but that's fair, isn't it? Just a couple of announcements for our KPFL Family.

For the month of December, we will be closed to the public on Friday’s. This gives us the time we need to prioritize animal care during the holiday season.

Homesteaders has a giving tree, please visit them and see how you can show care.

We now have our Amazon wishlist posted to our Instagram account. Checkout our needs.

And lastly, we are at capacity. If you would like to foster or are interested in adopting, come visit. We also always need dog walkers and cat cuddlers. Volunteers make our shelter go round.

I'm Fancy. I'm only twelve years old and though I don't have many teeth anymore, I do have a lot of beauty. I love to play chase and I love tuna. I have always been a pampered indoor kitty until my beloved owner could no longer care for me. Our parting was hard but I've hope I'll find a new human as kind as my old one. I've learned to mostly hold my own here, love to be pet - that's when I eat my best, is when someone is sitting with me, petting me. I really could use a human who wouldn't mind a lap warmer.

Hi! I'm Molly! I'm friends with Daisy. Actually, I'm her buddy who helps her feel safe right now. My breed was given as 'mix' so I'm not sure what I am. My name is Dean and I'm a loving boy who looks a bit like a Maine C**n. I'm only 1.5 toes old so I love to play, love to get into things and love to be cuddled by whatever human happens to be close. I have been around dogs so if the right one was part of my family I'd probably be good with it! When you look into my bright eyes all you'll see is an expectation that life is good and kind.
