I wanted to do something with our puppy playpen area. I painted this last year, the puppies will like it. We are hoping for one more litter of puppies before the year ends.

Merry Christmas Everyone

Our family would like to take this time to wish all of you a very merry Christmas. In the new year our family will be welcoming a new litter of puppies. Bittsy and Hank are hoping for their first litter next summer.

I know that puppies make such a beautiful Christmas gift. Those who have welcomed a new puppy or are going to bring one into your home are here if you need any assistance. We are available for help with potty training and crate training if you need help.

It was a great camping trip. Hank, Leo and Forrest all played in the river chasing a ball. Forrest went all the way to Loudonville Ohio to find his forever home. His new family lives here in Toledo. He has made his new family and one little girl very happy.

Did you know there is a definite difference between a male and female? While there truly is!
Male vs. Female
Does a male or a female make a better pet for you and your family?
It’s not uncommon for people to believe that a female dog will make a better pet. We get a lot of calls for people wanting that “special little girl”. For whatever reason they don’t think that females will exhibit “alpha” behaviors like hu***ng and/or marking. A lot of people think that females are more passive and friendly and that they don’t take part in fighting over dominance, which could NOT be farther from the truth. If you check out the structure of dog packs, the females determine the pecking order and rule the roost. The result of that behavior is that the females become more stubborn, independent, and territorial than the males. These females are much more intent on exercising their control by participating in that “alpha” behavior like hu***ng. Most fighting will usually break out between two females.
Males tend to be more affectionate, exuberant, attentive, and even more demanding of attention. The males are very attached to their owners, tending to be more dedicated, reliable and less temperamental. They are more sociable, more accepting of other pets, playful for years, and take quicker to children. Most boys are easily motivated by treats/food, words of praise and are so eager to please that training actually becomes easier. Their playful nature, however, can make males more easily distracted. The boys are more likely to act silly and more puppy-like, always wanting to play games, no matter what their age. The boys are fun-loving until the day they die, whereas girls tend to be more standoffish and dignified the older they get.
Neutered males rarely exhibit secondary sexual behavior such as marking and lifting their legs or hu***ng. Once the testosterone levels recede after neutering, most of these behaviors will disappear if they ever existed.
So before making your decision on that age old dilemma of male verses female, hopefully this will give you some helpful info to think about.

Forrest is still looking for his forever home. He was born on February 26th. Forrest is potty trained, crate trained his commands are leave it, sit, down, stay (short time) potty. He has more commands he also walks and heals next to you. I have trouble getting my dog to do that. If you Re thinking about getting a puppy give me a call. Hello everyone,
I have a puppy from Bailey's last litter. Some of you may recognize him. His name was Hunter. He was donated to a service dog program, he is a very well behaved puppy. He is back home. He has been renamed Forrest. He has learned several commands, doesn't bite and has the usual puppy behavior. Forrest will make a great therapy or companion for someone.

Hello everyone,
It's hard to believe we are into June already. My husband and I have had a wonderful time getting to know all of our new puppy parents and receiving updates on our puppy pro's. We enjoy hearing from you and seeing pictures.

If you haven't heard, this spring litter was Bailey's last one. Bailey is such a sweetheart and she is going to enjoy retirement. Bittsy is a F1 Saint Berdoodle and we will be breeding her. We hope to have a litter next year.

That's enough of my updates. I was looking around on the internet today and found an article I felt could help so many people and pets. Asher and Daisy enjoyed a morning at the farmers Market today. Daisy and Asher are 12 weeks old up to date on all shots, flea and heart guard treatment. Daisy and Asher, Saturday they will be 12 weeks old. They have had their first and second shot with the vet. Asher and Daisy have their first month of flea and heart guard treatment. They are crate trained and 95% potty trained. The hard work is is almost done all you need to do is snuggle.

Daisy and Asher had their second shot today. They also were so good our vet gave them flea treatments and heart guard. The poor babies are so tired from their adventure. They are still available for Adoption.

Saturday was gotcha day for the new puppy parents of Dazie, Reba, Lola and Hunter (Boris). We are very excited for them and their new families. Sky will go to her forever home on Monday.
