Congratulations to Lily and Strix for a successful weekend of Rally and Obedience at the Heart of the Desert Classic.

They Q'd and earned 1st Place in their CDX Open A Obedience run. Over the five days, this team nailed 5/5 triple Qs toward their RACH, and that included a 1st place, 2nd place, and two 4th place wins! One of those days, they scored perfect 100s for a High Triple and High Combined award.

Officially *halfway* through to their RACH! 👏 we are always so proud of this team. The Heart of the Desert Classic in Phoenix, Arizona was a great show for our team!

To start things off, HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to Katie Meyers, Lily Snow, and their beautiful half-sisters, Harpy and Strix! Handled beautifully by Katie, the girls showed in brace and took home a Herding Group 1 ⭐️

Strix is GCH Thanagar Caiman Crocodilus (Swift x Spider) and Harpy is CH Thanagar Lightning Thief (Swift x Prime). Both girls are co-owned with Thanagar Mudi.

We've added a map to our website (on our "About" page) with the general locations of our imported dogs and the puppies we've bred and sold. We hope this map is helpful for anyone wishing to learn more about our Mudis, and meet dogs that have been produced in our program.

Exact locations are not shared, to protect our buyers' privacy. If you would like to meet a dog in your area, please reach out and we will connect you!

Puffin & Crash’s puppies are nearly three months old! They’re all doing super well with their new families, and absolutely stinkin’ cute! We couldn’t be happier with this lovely litter 🖤

The puppies had a fun weekend in West Friendship, too! Bourbon and Hoax from our Swift x Baza litter came out for two days of Beginner Puppy shows. Both days, Bourbon was awarded Best of Breed with Hoax earning Best Opposite.

Sunday, Bourbon went on to nail a Puppy Herding Group 2! The judge was thrilled with both puppies and their temperaments, saying they were some of the nicest and most stable Mudis he’s met. This high praise means the world to us 🖤

Next time these babies hit the ring, they’ll be in “big dog” shows! I’m so impressed with the hard work their owners have put in so far. Bourbon is Thanagar Future History, co-owned with Denise Welk and Thanagar Mudi. Hoax is Thanagar Beauty is a Beast, co-owned with Jade Rabor and ourselves.

The stunning Thanagar Lightning Thief “Harpy” finished her AKC Championship in style this weekend at the Carroll Kennel Club shows in West Friendship. Both days, Harpy was awarded majors as Winners B, as well as a Best of Winners on Saturday!

Harpy has been shown beautifully by her owner-handler, Katie, and we are so incredibly proud of this young team. Congratulations!

Harpy is co-owned with Katie Meyers and Thanagar Mudi. She is from our Swift x Prime 2023 litter.

The Barn Hunt Association has released their 2024 rankings for fastest hunters. We are so proud to congratulate Duckduck and his mom Jessica on placing 7th in Novice, 2nd in Open, and 1st in Senior for the year! Most of Ducky’s competitions were before his first birthday, so we know he’s going to blow 2025 out of the park! 🐀

Duckduck is Thanagar Primal Howl HIT RATS CGC TKN FDC HCT-s from the October 2023 Puffin x Mahomes litter, co-owned by Thanagar Mudi and Jessica Kelly.

The Doppelgänger Litter turned 8 weeks this past weekend, and have been heading off to their new families!

Thanagar Sassafras “Loon” now lives in New York, and has a big life ahead of her on her dads’ homestead in the Catskills.

Thanagar Penguin “Cinder” is a new Ohioan, and has settled quickly into her new family. Her people have lots of fun plans for sports and other family adventures.

Thanagar Dingodile will head to Iowa in the new couple of days. His new mom is excited to try search & rescue with him, and tons of other activities too!

Big thanks to Harper, Taylor, and Sam Justice for all their hard work with this litter. Raising Mudi puppies is a lot different than raising Aussies, but these kiddos are so lovely and fun already! And thank you to all who helped us these last couple of weeks, working around snowstorms to make sure this litter still got all their needs met.

Happy 3rd birthday to our Gamer Litter puppies! We’re so proud of these Mudis and their accomplishments. Sas and Zapi produced a batch of kids that excel in agility, disc, detection, traveling, skiing, and simply being fantastic companions for their people.

Can’t wait to see what these guys get into in year four! Pictured in order: Nightjar, Crash, Mabelle, Havoc, and Zeus 🖤
