Due to the inclement weather, our Liberty location will be CLOSED today Monday January 6th for the safety of our staff & clients.

We will resume normal business hours tomorrow at 8AM. If you need any assistance with your pets today please call our Riverside location at 816-741-2345. They will be open 10AM-6PM.

**SUNDAY UPDATE. Be advised, we will be pushing our opening time back to 12pm on Monday January 6th now. **

With anticipation of the upcoming accumulating snow storm, our Liberty Eagle location will have a delayed opening at 10AM on Monday January 6th.

This will hopefully allow any roads to be clearer for safe travel to & from the hospital for clients as well as our staff.

-non-clumping litter, low-sided disposable litter boxes
-new or slightly used kennels
-Puppy pads
-lick mats for dogs
-teaser wands for cats
-Feliway or Adaptil

Ruby, the boxer puppy, had a little rough start to life by battling parvovirus & a few different intestinal parasites. But as the newest member of the loving Steiner family she conquered it all & is thriving as a 14 week old puppy!! We look forward to seeing her grow!!

🐾 Thanksgiving Pet Safety Tips 🦃

Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at EAH While you’re enjoying your holiday feast, don’t forget to keep your furry family members safe and happy. Here are a few tips to help your pets have a safe Thanksgiving:

1. Watch Those Table Scraps:
Many Thanksgiving foods, like turkey bones, onions, garlic, and rich, fatty dishes, can be harmful to pets. Keep the feast on the table and out of their paws!

2. Skip the Sweets:
Chocolate, xylitol (found in sugar-free treats), and some desserts are toxic to pets. Make sure they can’t sneak a bite of dessert!

3. Secure the Trash:
Turkey bones, food wrappers, and other hazards can be tempting for pets but can cause serious health issues. Keep trash bins out of reach.

4. Create a Safe Space:
If your home gets busy with guests, give your pet a quiet room to relax in. Too much excitement can be stressful for them.

5. Pet-Friendly Treats Only:
Include your pets in the holiday fun with vet-approved treats or their favorite snacks instead of table food.
