Even after enduring a traumatic injury inflicted by her previous owner, Esme became an inspiration to the team at the Foothills Animal Shelter as she never lost her sweet spirit. A representative at the shelter reported that “the medical treatment that Esme received truly saved her life after she was stabbed. Without the treatment, it is very unlikely Esme would have been able to fully recover but now she is running, playing, and loving like any other dog”. In even more wonderful news, Esme has since been adopted into a new, loving home!
