LIBERTY – Dr. Walter Herron, a trusted mobile veterinarian, remains a familiar presence for Liberty pet owners as part of his ongoing circuit across multiple counties. He will be stationed at the Rosewood Center next to Ingles for the last two Thursdays of each month over the next three months, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., providing essential veterinary services to the community.

With a career in mobile vet care spanning back to 1989, Dr. Herron brings a wealth of experience to his practice. Before embarking on his mobile journey, he honed his skills for three years in a traditional veterinary office. His mobile unit delivers affordable vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, and more, directly to pet owners in the region.

Liberty residents continue to sing his praises. Marie Feltz, a client since the 1990s, said, “I’ve taken every one of my pets to Dr. Herron for decades. He’s an excellent veterinarian—knowledgeable, caring, and supported by a great staff. They brave long hours in all kinds of weather to serve our communities. For many of us, keeping our pets vaccinated and healthy would be out of reach without Dr. Herron’s mobile services.”

Joanna Johnson echoed the sentiment: “Dr. Herron and his mobile vet are affordable and outstanding with dogs and cats. Best flea meds, worm meds, shots—and a staff that works hard to help you quickly.”

Dr. Herron explained that his hours shift with the seasons to accommodate the needs of the areas he serves. For the next three months, Liberty pet owners can count on his reliable, compassionate care right in their backyard.
