We are so pleased to have Lisa Triggs back to introduce Treibball, a fun new sport suitable to all types of dogs. Similar to herding, the dog and handler team work together to move balls across a field into a goal. Lisa will get you started with the foundations of distance work and pushing the object, building confidence in your dog. We also have a second workshop for those ready for next steps!

Fun Treibball challenge

Logan, intermediate Balls N Order, redirects

Treibball - one of the skills you teach in Treibball is a “stop” and redirect. You want to teach this in a positive manner so that it is not demotivating to your team mate. In this Balls N Order run, the ball retrieval order is yellow, pink, purple, blue, green then gray. Logan has easy access to the first ball (yellow) but the next 2 sends I use to use to have him break up the ball formation so he can more easily access the next colors. You will see that I send him out, have him push, stop and redirect to a different ball! He is such a GREAT partner!

Logan Treibball - Intermediate Balls N Order

Treibball is such a fun sport. This is a game called Balls N Order. Your dog has to bring the balls in to the goal in the order the judge calls out. In this Intermediate run the order is Yellow, Pink, Purple, Blue, Green and Gray. The yellow ball is set at 30 feet.
