Pet safety: are you prepared if your cat or dog bolts? Do you have a plan on how to find them? Do you have measures in place to ensure your pet can be tied back to you easily and quickly if they are found?

My dog is ✔️microchipped, ✔️wears her tag at all times, and always wears the ✔️FI collar for GPS/Bluetooth tracking!

I’m seeing an uptick in lost dogs! The signs often say “not wearing any tags, not microchipped”. If your dog or cat isn’t wearing tags or isn’t microchipped, how will anyone be able to call you to say they found your baby?

Channeled my 👨‍👩‍👧 family and ancestors, and Rosie The Riveter 👩‍🔧💪yesterday. I come from a family of 🏡🪴👩‍🌾👨‍🌾 horticulturists and nature lovers, and am one myself. I felt SO immersed in my element and was one with The one and only Mother Nature!

I accomplished the following (at my parents house using my parents tools):
✔️Trim hedges and bushes for overgrowth
✔️Remove dead branches from 30 year old hedges
✔️Avoid destroying a nest that a mama bird robin was incubating
✔️Weed
✔️Edge brick pavers
✔️Pick up as many clippings and leaves as possible
✔️Leaf blow all debris off walkways, rock landscaping, drives way, and out of the garage (a windy day blew some leaves into the garage while I worked).

What’s so great about being a part of my immediate and extended family? All of my services are free/complimentary!!

P.S. If you need yard and garden services, I will need access to your tools.

It is with deep regret and sorry that I must close down my doors permanently until we can get a better grasp on safety measures during these challenging times. My immune system is sadly not as strong enough to battle off illnesses like I’d like.

I wanted to take the time to thank each of you for 16 years of support, referrals, and kindness. You and your pets put a smile on my face every time I would visit. These are memories that I will cherish forever. I hope that one day we may get to a point where I won’t be unsafe, but after contracting COVID and it being really bad, I know this is the right decision for not only myself but my loved ones. This isn’t goodbye this is see ya later!!

Hey everyone I’ve got some good news and bad news. The good news is that I’ve added a new member to my family: Delilah! I am so excited to have a dog and for all of our adventures to come. The bad news is that PPPS is being placed on hold again as getting a new dog comes with training and new dog mom responsibilities.

I still highly recommend hiring someone you trust with a great amount of background in pet sitting to come to your home rather than boarding your dog in a kennel. Pets get super stressed in kennels and there’s a lot that can go wrong. Check out your local town’s Facebook groups and do a quick search using terms like “dog sitter” to find posts recommending a dog sitter.

Hi everyone! I have some exciting updates for you at Paige's Pampered Pet Service !!

About:
-All services take place at your house. This ensures your animal is the most comfortable while you are away. Kennels make for high stress environments where the risk of accidents or illness is higher.

New COVID Precautions in place:
-I am slowly restarting service for ONLY entire households that are fully vaccinated + updated with the most recent booster for the covid vaccine 💉.
-I am fully vaccinated with the booster and will continue to update myself with boosters as they come out.
-I can and will provide proof of my vaccination status upon request.
-I will consider doing overnight stays for animals in house only if you can provide proof that your household is vaccinated with the booster.

Referrals and new clients:
-I am accepting clients and new referrals!

Area of Service:
-My service area has changed.
-My new service area will include Libertyville, North Eastern Vernon Hills, and Western Green Oaks.
-I will consider clients in Gurnee Illinois on a case-by-case basis, especially for existing clientele.

House visit information:
-House visits will be early mornings and/ or after 5:00 p.m. central time due to my full-time job.
-Due to inclement weather I will be replacing dog walking with playtime in the yard or house.
-My services still include a daily mail take-in, watering plants if needed, fresh water, food with every visit, and play time.

Animals with health issues:
-I have 11 years of experience caring for disabled and sick dogs including but not limited to:
+Limited mobility
+Wheel chair carts
+Wagon carts
+Giving medication (in food or pilling in the throat)
+Declining health
+Senior pets
+Dog boot shoes
+Anti-knucking boot shoes
+Canine degenerative myelopathy
+Paralysis
+Drunken Sailor / Wobbler's Syndrome
+Cushing's disease
+Liver Disease
+Pancreatitis
+Arthritis
-I have 26 years of experience caring for disabled birds including but not limited to

+limited mobility
+Loss of flight

Pricing:
-Dogs: $30/30min visit (play time is free and included in the cost of a 30min visit). $45/hour visit. Add $10 for a walk. .
-Cats: $25/30 min visit
-Other species $15/30min a visit
-Have more than one pet? Each pets add $5 each
-Overnight stays start at $70 and will be prorated for any day spent that is less than 24hrs.
