Getting close to having this done and usable. Have to run electric to be able to use the ac, install second doggy door, and put sun shade roofs on. It’s not pretty but it will work for what I need. Dogs won’t be in it unless we’re gone overnight.

Happy birthday to all pipers babies! One year today! Jackson is such a good little boy that I really didnt want to keep but he’s made himself a big part of our family. He was meant for Presley and still sleeps in her room every night but he has squeezed his way into being more mine than hers 🙄

My Stella does not like the cold snow on her feet! She has came in twice now whining and limping. I grab her feet and warm them up for a second and then she’s fine. Not sure if she’s being over dramatic or if her paws are that sensitive. No one else seems to be minding.

Each dog got a pig ear for Christmas and some toys. Benelli and gauge devoured theirs in less than 5 mins. Stella finally took hers. Jackson wouldn’t eat his until I put it in his room in his kennel and he’s been in there eating it with the doors open. General apparently hates pig ears and made me get him a different chewy.

Someone has a hot spot on his privates 🤣 cone only worked for a few hours and he kept getting stuck behind the couch and running into me with the dumb thing. He now has little boy un**es on 🤣 hopefully hell keep them on overnight and I’ll have to get a picture because it’s pretty funny.

Ticks and chiggers are mostly gone so it’s back to taking the dogs for a walk in the woods. Not very good pictures but they won’t sit still lol. Jackson is figuring out the shock collar very fast. Haven’t had to shock him just the beep and he’s learning that that means come back (and we only use it for walks so they can run and not have to be on leash but I have a better recall than just me yelling at them lol.)

Went to the groomers today and got all pretty and smelling good and this is how he says thanks mom. He’s fine just cut his pad open and those suckers bleed a lot.

Ticks and chiggers are bad this time of year so to walk the dogs we go on the road and they of course have to be on leash. Good thing I have a strong helper.

This lug is 7 today! He has sired many great puppies but he is loving the retired farm life. He has been a strictly outside (except in bad weather of course) dog since being neutered and is our guard dog. He lets me know when anyone pulls into the driveway and really intimidates people 🤣

The kids both had a field trips today and I decided to take Stella and Jackson and meet them. Both dogs did so so good. Got lots of love from tons of kids and enjoyed every minute of it.

First day in a week the dogs have been outside besides to potty. We were over 110 heat index for a week straight and it was miserable lol. Not used to that for long periods here. So looking forward to fall.

Get your kids their own puppy!
Not a very good picture but these two are slowly bonding. It’s taking awhile for him to realize she’s supposed to be his person and not me, but with her doing everything for him and sleeping in her room he’s learning. He spends tons of time in her room even if she’s not home I find him in there.
