ITS OFFICIAL!! 🗞️🥳🐾🙌
Maverick has been ADOPTED!! This sweet puppy has done some traveling in his short 7 months of life! Maverick was dumped in a crate at the rear door of a vets office in Miami. He then went to live in a wonderful Lady Luck foster home in Cooper City. Yesterday, he departed West Palm Beach with The Darbster Foundation headed to Chichester, New Hampshire. Today, he will travel to his new forever home in China, Maine! His new parents have another dog at home who has megaesohogus just like Maverick. He is in the absolute best loving hands!! Many thanks to his Foster Parents, The Darbster Foundation and his new parents for opening up their home and heart for this adorable special needs puppy! This was an amazing group effort with a beautiful outcome! Happy Tails Maverick, enjoy playing in the snow! ❤️❄️☃️

Morning Update!
It’s snowing in Maine!! Mavericks adopters are on their way to New Hampshire to pick him up from the Darbster Foundation transport!! It’s a 2 1/2 drive for them. They are eager to meet their new baby! Safe Travels! He’s definitely worth the drive!

Adoption News 📰 Max the Magnificent has been ADOPTED!! This gorgeous, sweet boy was purchased at a breeder and given to a young girl who’s Landlord didn’t allow pets. She gave him to a contractor, who took him in so that Max didn’t wind up on the streets of Miami. The contractor then gave him to a caring Police Officer who then contacted us. This poor baby was bounced around so much in his short life.. he’s just a baby! He went to an amazing Lady Luck foster family who spent a lot of time training him and giving him lots of love and stability. Then, along came his furrever family!! There was a lot of interest in adopting Max, but his new dad was certainly the most persistent and fought hard to make this adoption happen! He took Max home to Miami to meet his wife and two French Bulldogs, who initially were not a fan of the new guy in town! Dad was also looking for a dog that would attach to him, since the Frenchie are Mommas boys/girls. Through patience and proper introductions, they now all have a cohesive family bond and Dad got his dream dog! Happy Tails Max, you are where you were meant to be! ❤️🙏🏻

One of our adopted cats, Jolly, has accidentally escaped his soft sided carrier while transporting him back home in Bal Harbour (near Camden Dr and Park Dr Miami area). Poor 7 year old Gracie is a Purebred Golden Retriever whose owner had to place her in boarding at one of our vets offices because she could no longer care for her. Gracie is missing her Mom, who is now at a memory care facility and none of her family members are willing to step up and take her in. Gracie is a sweet 7 year old, who is still a puppy at heart. She is good with other dogs/cats/kids.
She is spayed and UTD on vaccinations.

Thank you Darbster Foundation for transporting Maverick to his new home today! Maverick is a sweet puppy who was abandoned in his crate at the rear entrance to a vet office in Miami. It was discovered that Maverick has Megaesophagus, which is most likely the reason he was dumped. Lady Luck Animal Rescue found a foster family and got him all of the medical attention he needed. His amazing foster parents (pictured) gave him so much love and care while we searched for a permanent home. His new family lives in China, Maine! They will be picking him up on Sunday morning. They currently have a Pittbull with the same condition and are experts in caring for a dog with this diagnosis. We are truly grateful for Ellen and everyone at Darbster for helping us get Maverick to his new family! ❤️🐾🙌 Adoption photo is forthcoming!

Purraj is a very sweet male Domestic Shorthair/Tabby kitten born July 2, 2024. A TNR trapper trapped the mom just as she had her babies. We were able to step in and let mom raise her babies in the safety of indoors. Now her kittens are ready for adoption! Purraj is a very outgoing little boy. He gives kisses on command and loves a good lap cuddle. He likes to run around with his siblings and haul a stuffed toy around the house. He loves people and will make someone very happy.

UPDATE on Pepper!
Pepper was severely matted and neglected prior to joining the Lady Luck Animal Rescue family. She had to be sedated to remove 2 pounds of matted hair from her little body. Well… now! She a pampered, spayed little princess who has an amazing foster to adopt family! This girl has a bigger wardrobe than most humans! 🥰🤩

Purmina is a little pretty female Domestic Shorthair/Tabby kitten born July 2, 2024. A TNR trapper trapped the mom just as she had her babies. We were able to step in and let mom raise her babies in the safety of indoors. Now her kittens are ready for adoption! Purmina is a gorgeous girl - check out those swirls in her coat! She is just looking for her forever person to call her theirs for life. She is a little lady and does not rough house as much as her brothers but still loves her toys. She enjoys laps and pets and is very fond of treats. She gets along with other cats. 🐾

These two Chihuahuas mix puppies are approximately 12 weeks old. They are the result of an accidental litter. They are currently living in a home with other dogs and cats! They are adorable and playful!

Once a foster to adopt home is secured, they will be scheduled to be spayed. They will be dewormed, vaccinated and given preventatives.

If interested in adopting either Lucia or Zoey, please fill out an adoption application. They do NOT need to be adopted together, we prefer separate homes to avoid the potential of littermate syndrome.

CAIRO IS PENDING PICK UP! 🙌

Gorgeous Cairo is currently being fostered in Lake Worth Fl! He is a Malinois Mix Puppy, DOB: 5/10/24. He was found as a stray in Miami and taken in by a Good Samaritan who contacted our rescue. He is good with other dogs and kid friendly! He is just a gentle sweet boy, he is smaller in stature, but big at heart! He currently weighs 40 lbs, but needs to put some weight on.

Cairo has been neutered, microchipped, dewormed and is UTD on vaccinations and preventatives.

Purlina likes to cuddle with you while you watch tv and loves her toys and hauling them around the house. She will do anything for a Churu. She loves other cats. She is a little shy when new people come over but once she knows you is all cuddles.

We are very sad to announce that our boy Gomez has been returned because of unexpected issues with him and their cat. Please no adopter bashing here. They worked on the issues for 5 months and it just wasn’t a match. We have him at the cat cafe in the back making him feel comfortable again with us. We are taking it slow to help him settle in.

We have more ADOPTION NEWS! 🗞️ Arnold, now named Archie, has been ADOPTED!!
Archie was found as a stray in Broward County. A good Samaritan took him in and contacted us. Archie was posted looking for a foster home and in no time had a foster family who had no intention of ever letting him go! He is happy as a clam in his new home and always has a smile and lick for everyone he meets! Happy Tails sweet boy, you deserve this wonderful life! ❤️🙏🏻🐾

Hamilton, now named Panda, has been ADOPTED!! Hamilton was found as a stray in Coral Springs and wound up at the Humane Unit. One of our fosters happened to be at the Humane Unit to pick up another dog, when a city worker approached to look through the window of the kennel. He noticed Panda and asked if Lorelei knew about him because his friend’s Husky had recently passed away and he knew they were looking for another one. Lorelei gave him all of the information on how to adopt Panda, which he then passed along and that’s how this AMAZING adoption happened! Panda is now one of 3 gorgeous Huskies, all with bear names, living their best life with amazing parents! Team work, Makes the Dream Work!!

ADOPTION NEWS! 📰 Rambo, now named Rocco, has been ADOPTED!! Rambo is a Gorgeous Rottweiler who was found as a stray in Coral Springs and wound up at the Humane Unit. He is a VERY strong boy who needed an adopter familiar with the breed. Along came Lori, one of our previous adopters, who saw him posted on our page. Lori has had several Rotties throughout her life and is more than qualified to handle him! Lori recently lost one of her dogs and Callie, her other dog needed a new Brother! She drove almost 3 hours with Callie to come and meet Rocco! She took both dogs on leashes and walked around the parking lot at the Humane Unit and the rest is history! Instant love, instant bond between the dogs and they were all headed back home!! Happy Tails Rocco, your life just got a whole lot better! Thank you Lori Green for Rescuing again with Lady Luck Animal Rescue! ❤️🐾

AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION!! Gucci is a 3 year old, male Bulldog mix. He was found as a stray in Miami. Gucci is currently being fostered by the caring person who found him. Gucci is scheduled to be neutered on Friday 11/22 and will be UTD on vaccinations, microchipped and dewormed. You must watch his video.. his pictures do not do him justice of how gorgeous he is. He is so gentle and sweet with the fosters cats. Adoption update with a cute video of Miss Frizzle. Her name will probably become Dolce. She hid under the bed for 24 hours and hissed and growled, and then she came out and turned into a huge cuddly purr machine.

AVAILABLE FOR FOSTER TO ADOPT!! Meet Cairo!! He’s a 6 month old Malinois Mix Puppy. He was found as a stray in Miami. A Good Samaritan took him in and tried to find his owner, to no avail. He is not microchipped, but he will be when we get him neutered. He is good with other dogs, cats and humans! He has not been around children yet, but he’s sweet as can be!! He can jump high, which is typical for the breed, so a tall 6’ fence would be ideal, but not mandatory if you plan to walk him. He’s pretty chill for a Malinois and walks well on a leash. He is potty trained. He is UTD on vaccinations, dewormer and flea/tick/heart worm prevention. Adoption update. Ranger has been the saving grace for this young teen. She has been recovering from serious back operation and out of school for a year. He is now called Wink and clearly hit the lottery. Wink watches TV and dotes on a little cousin baby. 😻❣️
