I've decided I'm going to do pre-orders for Cocktown Orpington Surprise Boxes. This means you will not know what your getting, the boxes will be a dozen chicks, mix of several varieties, and all bands will be removed from the chick's legs....a total surprise. I did these a few years back and people loved them. I will only have shipment openings from April 7th until June 30th available. Message me if interested and i will give you your shipping date.

2025 Policy

1. My chicks are sold straight run only, unless specified.
a. Chicks are $15/ea straight run and $20/ea. for guaranteed pullets

2. I will be selling hatching eggs this year. Those of you that are hatchaholics....I've got you ❤️
a. Hatching eggs are $90 per dozen shipped.

3. My hatches will be posted Sundays at 3pm ET. Eggs will be posted Friday at 6pm ET. I don't do lists, sorry.

3. Chicks and eggs ship out on Mondays, unless Monday falls on a holiday. You should receive chicks by Wednesday and eggs by Thursday. Chicks and egg shipping starts the end of February.

4. I guarantee the life of my shipped chicks. You have 2 hours from the time your post office receives them to pick them up (I track them also and know what time your PO called you and what time you got there to pick them up). I will not guarantee their health if they're picked up after that. If a chick doesn't survive shipping then message me with a photo and I will be happy to refund you.

5. By now y'all know the gamble you're taking on shipped eggs. I will not post certain colors if they're fertility is under 90%. So if you don't see a certain colors or pattern posted....that's why.

6. Chick Shipping and Pickups
(a) minimum order is 12 chicks for shipping
and 4 chicks for pickups
(b) shipping cost for 12-15 chicks is $75 Express...insurance is $5 extra
(c) shipping cost for 20 to 36 chicks is $100 Express...insurance is $7 extra
(d) shipping is only available for those that are
4.5hrs away or further
(e) I will provide a box and shaving when picking up chicks. If you pickup anything 8wk or older you have to provide a cage to transport them in. If you come with a box then I will not sell them to you....period. I will not sell any single growout by itself, you need to at least get two so they have a friend in their new surroundings.
(f) Any birds moved using a transporter....I'm not responsible for DOA's.....I've seen a lot of shoddy operations and that's why.

6. Payments
(a) only PayPal is accepted for
shipped chicks. Cash for pickups unless
otherwise discussed
(b) all electronic payments are to be made via
friends and family, if you'd rather pay via Goods and Services then I will add a 3% fee to your order.
I understand that with all the scammers, there are a lot of trust issues.

8. The only change in pricing will be for special orders. For example: Lavender and Black Split to Lavender produces both colors, if you want only Lavender or only Black Split to Lavender then the chicks will be $20/ea

I spent the summer growing out new bloodlines for my Blue girls, bred and added 3 new bloodlines of Silver Laced Chocolate, created a new line of Red Cuckoo girls, plus I've been growing out all the new colors y'all see. I'm excited for this new year. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Can't wait for spring, girls are all starting to lay....so of course I'm intubating so I can get fertility dialed in before shipping season. So far the Gold Laced are the only ones at 100%. Love this pic of my little Mauve girl ❤️. Y'all have a great Christmas!
