We provide for as many senior animals as the budget will allow. We are not a shelter or rescue group but we DO try to get our old dogs from shelters or rescue groups. 8 years ago today...
* moving day... from Rossford to Lima
* Nic begins living in Lima but still working in Toledo
* 1st time living on her own
* Gotcha Day for Cody Bear
* 1st Hay Day
* reality of having 2 horses on her own property and caring for them 24/7

quickly followed by 1st vet visit... Howie was allergic to the shavings🤦‍♀️

What an eventful 8 years!!!
God is good!

Al and I decided to surprise Nic by cleaning stalls for her. I always say that as soon as the stalls are clean, Howie will come in and either p*e or poo in them.

FYI, today he took 42 SECONDS to do so. Gotta love him

Ben (10YO) and Bud (13YO) were on the road to Gram's house today! Riley has been staying at Gram's while she is resting up a sore leg and OMM West is a little quieter than OMM East... 😀

Buddy was adopted from Ohio SPCA & Humane Society several years ago. He had been returned to the shelter 2X's... I am pretty sure it was because he was waiting for us! 😍

He found himself on the wrong side of the barrier but look how proud he was to make it back to the other side! Buddy is 13 years young.

Fred (also known as Kevin) has little to no eyesight but that doesn't stop him. He goes confidently and eventually makes his way back to the door and up the 2 steps. Such an amazing little guy. He just keeps perking along. He even tolerates Gabby the kitten... hard to believe he is 12 years old! Seems like a happy little guy.
