Who is excited for opening day?? ⚾️
Buckeye is in our current puppy Kindergarten class and is hitting HOMERUNS when it comes to his commands. 🏆🥇 He is well on his way to becoming a therapy dog, where he will be rounding all the bases and sliding into the hearts of patients going through outpatient physical therapy treatments.

In honor of NATIONAL PUPPY DAY we couldn't think of anything better to share then this right here!!!! 🙌👏 Seriously - WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? We say it ALLLL the time and yet, puppy owners think they have time to get to the social and obedience side later. NO-YOU-DON't. Literally, the time will tick on by and you can't get it back
If you have taken on the responsibility of bringing a young puppy home, we hope you have also made plans on how you are going to provide them the proper exposure they need to grow into amazing little doggies.

The first few months of a puppy’s life can shape their entire future!

🐾 Puppies exposed to new sights, sounds, and experiences in a positive way without trauma before 14 weeks have been shown in research studies to grow into more confident, well-adjusted dogs. Early socialization can help to them learn faster, solve problems better, and reduces fear-based behaviors. Who would deny a no cost way to help their fur baby be smarter, more resilient, and a better problem solver? Yet, people everyday do not take this essential step.

Every interaction counts! Safe (to the puppy, not you) introductions to people, other dogs, and different environments build resilience and emotional stability. A well-socialized puppy is less likely to struggle with anxiety and reactivity later in life. 🐶💡

Don’t wait—give your pup the best start possible. Whether it’s puppy classes, positive experiences at the vet, or fun adventures outside, every moment matters.

Today is National Dog Theft Awareness Day, and we want to share some tips for avoiding pet theft! 🐶

🐕 Never leave your dog unattended in public areas.
🐕 Don't let your dog wander off-leash when you're out for a walk.
🐕 Ensure your dog has proper identification, such as an ID tag.
🐕 You should never leave your dog alone in the car.
🐕 Keep an eye on your dog when they are playing in the yard.

If your dog is stolen, immediately report the theft to the police, and call your microchip company and any lost-dog or stolen-dog databases you know of in your area, including local shelters.
