From the Northeastern Indiana Kennel Club (NEIKC) and Marion Kennel Club we would like to thank all the members and friends who helped at the dog show!

We had many vendors, plenty of grooming space, a great Club raffle, heart clinic, eye clinic, obedience, and rally.

We look forward to making next year better.

We will be working with the Coliseum and trying to make a few improvements.

Just wanted to thank all the breeders, exhibitors, handlers, p*e wee and itty bitty for supporting our show and mark your calendar for next year !

Reverse sneezing can be alarming for both you and your pet the first time it occurs. Don't worry; it's often harmless and nothing to be afraid of. But what is it, and how do I stop it?

This inward sneeze can result in a loud honking or snorting sound that may be alarming at first. It's not uncommon in brachycephalic dog breeds such as pugs, French bulldogs, and some mastiffs. It's the result of spasms in the soft palate and throat, which can potentially be due to irritation of the nose, throat, or sinuses. In some cases, it may be due to excess weight in the dog.

Most of the time, reverse sneezing will go away on its own in two minutes or less. Try to keep your dog calm and reassure them that everything will be okay. Don't interfere unless necessary. If it's severe or not calming down after a few minutes, then go ahead and gently massage their throat. If this doesn't work, gently cover both nostrils so that they must breathe through their mouth. This can help them return to normal breathing and stop the reverse sneezing.
