== Attention Erwin/Unicoi Residents ==

Does anyone know this beautiful female cat? We named her River as she was found near the Nolichucky River. She is microchipped & adopted from the Unicoi Animal Shelter --however, due to the flood, they cannot access their database. She was found in the 4000 block of Hwy 81 S in Erwin. We suspect maybe she was displaced due to the floods. She is the sweetest cat & know her family must be missing her!! Please share & hopefully we can get her back home ❤

“We are looking for our cat Bella and older female spayed, Tuxedo Black n White. Last seen in the flood waters on hwy 81s Erwin, Washington County.”

The Jonesborough Community Chest will collect donations for those affected by Hurricane Helene again tomorrow. Drop your donations on September 30th at the First Baptist Church, 201 E. Main Street, Jonesborough, Noon-7pm.

****We have been assured that ALL DONATIONS WILL REMAIN IN WASHINGTON COUNTY. Any non-perishable items will be donated to the JAMA Food Pantry in Jonesborough which will be distributed in Washington County. We need help unloading donations, boxing supplies for delivery if needed, and loading them into delivery vehicles. We also need delivery trucks to go to Crossroads Church in Gray next to Daniel Boone High School, now the official collection site. THANK YOU!

Please share; TN Dept of Ag Emergency Responders are set up at Elizabethton High School; they have resources for anyone with small or large farms damaged by the flood! They are mostly taking down information and gathering resources to distribute once they have more info on what is most needed. They are focusing on loose livestock, fencing, shelter, and feed right now. They also manage agricultural crimes so if you’ve had ag related theft/looting they are the ones to talk to. If you can’t access them directly but want to give me your contact info I will go down and sign you up myself! They will get to you as soon as possible.
