If you live anywhere near the fires that are decimating CA please be aware that wild animals are fleeing the fires too and they may show up in your yards.
The Forestry Department is urging you to bring your domestic animals in at night and let the wild ones pass through.
💗Please put out buckets of water for them - they are scared, exhausted, and have also lost their homes - they need to refuel.

So many pugs (as well as other dogs) need to be rescued from the meat trade industry in China.

WE NEED TO GET 100 PUGS OUT OF CHINA.

I had 61 pugs at the Pug Safehouse, and since I visited we rescued about 40 more.
And somehow we have to do this before April 1st of this year. Because on April 1st a BAN on flying pugs goes into effect - because it becomes too hot for brachycephalic dogs to fly.

This is an overwhelming mission to say the least. Considering that only 5 dog crates are allowed per flight to San Francisco. And only on ONE airline.

Also, there is a lot of drama going on with rescues in China. There are dozens of pugs in Beijing that a Canadian rescue was going to take, but they are not. Those pugs are now being looked after by other rescues. That is separate from the ONE HUNDRED we have. I wish I could tell you guys the headache and problems humans create every day, for me but more importantly THE PUGS.

So here is what we need. We need ALL PUG RESCUES ALL OVER THIS COUNTRY TO STEP UP. Can you take ANY of these pugs? The airline flies to Chicago, and to Seattle. Any rescues that can pick up 5 pugs at those destinations?? Any pug rescues that can send volunteers to drive to San Francisco or LA and pick up 5 pugs? I am already working with local pug rescues which committed to helping, but we need the whole pug community to step up. I WILL HELP. GUIDE. PAY. WHATEVER YOU NEED ME TO DO. I just want these babies SAVED.

ANY PUG RESCUE WILLING AND ABLE TO TAKE A FEW PUGS - please email me: [email protected]. If we can’t get them out by April 1st, they will sit in cages until December 1st to wait for another chance. But in the meantime dozens of others will need that space. Or they die.

And keep in mind that the one and only airline that still flies pugs can STOP at any time. And then those babies have no hope. NONE. So I need everyone to share and to donate and to extend yourself to save these babies. Look at Tiny Tina. Look at Jackson Action. Look at Helen. Aren’t they worth it??? We have 3 flight heroes scheduled for February. We need a few more. And we need a ton more for March. Please, let’s do this. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

SOS 🚑🆘️FOSTER HOMES NEEDED URGENTLY. So many pets in need of rescue but we are FULL. This week we had to turn away a mama and puppies for lack of space. Don't worry, we're following them and will figure something out. But please consider fostering. My New Fur baby Felina! She is a chug (pug/chihuahua mix).

This is the shelter where I just adopted my new fur baby, they are being threatened by a deliberate fire (2 times). Location is San Pablo Dam Rd in San Pablo, CA. Anyone in the area please keep a look out for who is doing this and share this post!

Labradoodles are sweet dogs and I won't advise anyone against getting one BUT people should also be aware they require A LOT of regular grooming!

He says the majority of labradoodles are "either crazy or have a hereditary problem."
