Our Story
At Camp Canines, your dog will be left in the best hands. Whether you're going on vacation and need them taken care of, or just need simple daily pet sitting and training, Camp Canines wants to work with you! Our top priority is safety for our dogs. We never allow dogs to play while unattended and take group play seriously. We want your dog to be safe and relaxed at all times and will take whatever means necessary to ensure your dog has a positive experience with all staff and other dogs. We have a viewing area for customers so you can see the dogs on the floor and have a 24 hour surveillance system to check up on and keep boarding dogs safe at all times. Owner & Head Trainer Cindi Tringali has been providing group classes and private lessons for over 25 years for dogs & puppies of all ages and breeds. Cindi’s wide range of experience behavior modification, includes water rescue, scent training, obedience and manners for all ages, and service dog training for the physically disabled (both mobility and hearing-impaired) and those suffering from PTSD. Before moving to Oregon, she was CCI’s (Canine Companions for Independence) San Francisco East Bay Regional Puppy Raiser Trainer, where she worked with the 30-60-member group on manners and basic obedience as well as Service Dog tasks and public access skills. Cindi is an advocate of gentle, effective training focusing on positive reinforcement and was an ardent follower and student of world-renowned trainer, behaviorist and University of California-Davis faculty member, Dr. Sophia Yin. Cindi has also volunteered her time helping several organizations including the White Kitty Foundation, where she provided consulting and training to help homeless dogs integrate into their forever homes, and Dogs4Diabetics, where she trained medical alert dogs to detect low blood sugar in diabetics.
