I am so happy to say, that after an exhausting trip to the lower end of California, Rune finally got to go to her new home! I am so extremely happy that she got her very own family. She was hard to let go of, but I am looking forward to updates!

I will always advocate for handlers and service dogs. Have a conversation with the handler! Or If you feel you "need" interactions with dogs, why not volunteer with your local shelter or a local rescue? Pulling a service animal away from their task is not only dangerous, but extremely inconsiderate and honestly selfish. It's not just about you.

Thanks for coming to my Ted talk!

At a doctor’s office today, I had to ask every single person except the doctor herself to stop trying to get my service dog’s attention. Today was his first day back to work since I got sick, and that means getting him back in the swing of things. None of them listened to me when I asked them to stop. They all continued to talk to him until they were satisfied with their one-sided interaction. “I know I’m not supposed to talk to you, but…” then don’t.

This puts handlers in a position where their service dogs could miss alerts. Don’t be the reason I couldn’t avoid a medical emergency. Don’t be the reason I have a fall. There is a person on the other end of the leash. We aren’t just leash holders for the cute dog you got to look at today.

Never interact with service dogs (or any dog) without the handler’s permission.

“At the end of the day, they’re still dogs who have to choose work over any distraction that is thrown at them every working moment of every day. It is not your right or responsibility to test that boundary”

We're thrilled to announce our very first litter of Rainbow Colored Miniature Australian Cattle Dogs is due any day!

What is Rainbow Colored? It is the term we use to describe a litter with a large variety of possible/expected colors in the pups.
This litter may have True Blue, Blue (Black and Tan), Chocolate, Chocolate and Tan, Slate, Slate and Tan, Lilac, and Lilac and Tan.

These babies will be super well built, as both parents are built gorgeously, and are absolutely stunning too.
This will be our only litter from this pairing, as Garnet is being retired.

This handsome boy went back to his forever home yesterday!

He took exactly 2 seconds to register who was coming to him, and you could tell the moment he knew! he got so so happy, his whole body wiggled! You can't forget love like that, and I am so happy him and his family got a beautiful happy ending/new beginning!

Our beautiful Yellowstone babies are now 4 weeks old! Look how stunning they are already!
They look like they will all pretty loudly marked extreme mottles, which is always a crowd winner.

Baby Beth has Heterochromia! Meaning she has two different colored eyes. One brown, and one blue! Another sprinkle of something extra special to add to what I am sure is going to be a gorgeous heeler!

Not every dog loves to be social and not every dog loves the dog park.

Just like other mammals you have some that love to be social butterflies and others are very selective when it comes to friends.

It is normal to be friend selective. It’s unusual to enjoy and be friendly with every single dog.
