Trekking through the snow to the coops, with hot breakfast, like a Porter at a fancy chicken hotel. 😆

We got 56 lbs of peaches from our little tree, this year!!! 😍 Freezer prep done, and the chickens were pretty happy to receive some discarded seconds! 🍊

Very exciting news!! Big Momma finally gets the real deal!! She's been broody for a long time, so we got her some fertilized hatching eggs!! Now she just has to do her thing and hopefully, we get chicks!! 😍🐣🐤

Breakfast!

When it gets this cold and snowy, we make some adjustments to the usual routine. The chickens will be in their coops today at least until this afternoon. So they get hot breakfast, with lots of protein, and mixed thinner than we would eat oatmeal so they get extra moisture. Eggs are a great source of protein for chickens 😳🙈🤷🏻‍♀️
