“Hello My Friends.” This was the greeting that we received every time Veronica Elwell came into LRVH. It was such a simple statement that instantly brought a smile to our faces.
While we would often discuss serious healthcare concerns, tough events and sad situations Veronica knew how to appropriately add some element of humor so that we could laugh through whatever it was.
Along with helping people during difficult times Veronica helped and saved countless animals in our community. She found creative ways to get animals out of the conditions that they were in, allowed them access to veterinary care and found them the most loving homes.
Veronica courageously fought her cancer diagnosis and was an inspiration throughout.
Through our sadness we will continue to be inspired by her love, dedication, positivity and friendship. We all know how lucky we were to be Veronica’s friends. 🐾❤️
