I posted this awhile back but come to realize jot very many people understand what it means.
I know I have had a lot of friends reach out in regards to puppies.
I am looking for a guardian home for some of my male dogs.
Every breeder does things differently but as far as my guardianship homes go…
You would get the dog for free, you are responsible for the dogs, vetting, food, care etc just like it is your dog (which it will be) I would need to be able to use him for stud services when needed. When he is 6 he will be neutered and signed over to you to spend the rest of their lives with your family.
I don’t usually do guardian homes for my girls but would consider offering a couple of my 3-4yr old girls as they will be retiring soon and this would be the perfect outcome for their forever home.
I do have a contract that lays everything out. If you are interested in more information on this please feel free to reach out.

🏡Let's go over some important DON'T & DO'S once you bring home your new puppy! 🐶
💚Feel free to SHARE💚
🚫Do NOT stop at a rest area for your puppy to potty; instead use disposable potty pads and line them in your vehicle for puppy to go potty.
🚫Do NOT take your puppy on walks around your neighborhood, they are to only be placed on YOUR grass/ground ONLY!
🚫Do NOT allow a bunch of people to pet your dog, less is best and calmer for your pup.
🚫Do NOT put your puppy on the ground at your vets office!!!!!!!(biggest mistake I see) They are NOT fully vaccinated until they have had 3-4 puppy series of distemper/parvo vaccines, rabies and/or bordetella. Yes, they absolutely can catch airborne diseases and become sick.
🚫Do NOT allow many visitors the first 3-6 weeks at minimum. This is a crucial bonding period between you and your puppy also to establish a routine for them, less is best.
🚫Do NOT be afraid you will offend people by telling them please don't touch my puppy him/her is/isn't fully vaccinated.
🚫 Do NOT be afraid to speak your mind/voice your opinion to your veterinarian about policies, heath contracts you have in place with your breeder and be sure they are listening BECAUSE believe it or not they aren't always right or know what's best when it comes to our breed!

FYI....
Your new puppy could ABSOLUTELY test positive for coccidia at their first vet visit after leaving us. Testing positive does NOT mean that they lived in unsanitary conditions that promoted an infection (although vets will push that agenda). Five puppies from the SAME litter can go home on the same day, and at their vet visit only ONE could come back positive for coccidia. The most common reason is how a puppy responds to stress and their new environment. Some puppies handle stress really well, but some have a problem with ANY new thing in their environment. If coccidia shows up in a f***l test of your new puppy, that is common. Research is showing that EVERY dog harbors this in their system. Dogs typically develop an immunity to coccidia causing any physical symptoms by the time they reach 12-16 weeks of age. If a test does show coccidia, your vet will likely want to treat with Albon.
We do our best to send healthy puppies home without any issues at all. We also do our best to make sure your puppy was well socialized and introduced to lots of experiences in the world around them that are safe while they are with us. We love raising our puppies where they have room to play and run and enjoy nature, but it comes with risks as well. These two pesty little parasites are the bane of most breeder's existence, as many families become very concerned when a vet says their puppy has a parasite. Just remember, parasites are common and even you, more than likely, have them in your system. Don’t be alarmed about giardia and coccidia. Be informed and educated. They are real and common and you will deal with it at some point while raising your puppy or dog. How are coccidia transmitted? A puppy is not born with the coccidia organisms in his intestine. However, once born, the puppy is frequently exposed to his mother's f***s, and if the mother is shedding the infective cysts in her f***s, which adult dogs can do, as all dogs carry these oocysts in their system, then the young animals will likely ingest them and coccidia will develop within the young animal's intestines. Since young puppies, usually those less than six months of age, have no immunity to coccidia, the organisms reproduce in great numbers and parasitize the young animal's intestines. Probably the three most invasive non-worm parasites for dogs are coccidia, spirochetes, and giardia. Dogs can harbor these creatures in their digestive tracts and develop some immunity to them, giving little indication they are in fact diseased. However, once the dog is STRESSED OUT by travel or other physically demanding experiences, diarrhea can be the result. Coccidiosis is frequently referred to as an opportunist – a disease that will develop when other stress factors are present. For example, the HIGHEST incidence of coccidiosis is in the first days after a dog has changed owners and moved to a new residence. If a normal animal carries oocysts, it is relatively easy for rapid development when the conditions are right – adverse weather, shipping, dog food changes, new owners, new residence, and other stresses. And, as your dog gets older, they can ABSOLUTELY test positive for coccidia again. STRESS is the main component for a positive test NOT unclean living conditions. Obviously a dog must be exposed to the organism, but it can live for months or even years in a dog's system before being triggered.
