We, at Kenl Inn, Inc., (Lincoln, Ne) are devoted to providing the best possible care for your pet with trained staff, personal attention, special activities, and state-of-the-art comfortable and secure facilities. Our office hours are firm and there are no exceptions. There are several reasons for this. Once your pet is boarding with us he becomes an important part of what happens on a daily basis. They are accustomed to potty times, feeding times, nap times, etc. Each disruption to that routine becomes an added stress factor that some pets do not deal well with. The pets in our care are on a regular routine, which becomes very important to their comfort and well-being. In order for our staff to efficiently and effectively deliver the appropriate care it is important that they not have to deal with distractions that they are unable to handle.Your pet is being cared for every day of the year at Kenl Inn. Several staff members are in (and around) the facility daily, in several shifts from 5:00 am until midnight. For the security of your pet and our staff, our employees are prohibited from allowing public entry outside our normal open hours.Thank you for your understanding and for respecting these policies. TOURS - You are always welcome to stop by and tour during regular business hours Monday through Sunday. DOGGIE Day Care - For those times when it is inconvenient to leave your dog at home, or when you want to give your dog a special day! A climate controlled, comfortable environment to provide socialization and exercise for your dog. Play time, rest time, snuggle time, just a real good time for your dog!! DELUXE DOG SUITES - Spacious, private suites with oak trim, brass fixtures, wallpaper border, marble tile floors, dutch doors with full length window, raised bed with comforter and treats. In addition, the suite package comes with an activity program with lots of personal attention. ACTIVITIES - Play Time - Play Pals - Yappy Hour - Double Dog Dare Ya - Half Day Play - Tail Waggin' Hound - Gym 'n Swim - Nature Hikes - Busy Bones. INDOOR FACILITIES - Roomy, private quarters, designed for the safety and well being of your pet. Deluxe Suites for the discriminating dog Spacious indoor training area. Central air/heat for year round comfort. State of the art Grooming salon. OUTSIDE FACILITIES - Scheduled trips outside for whatever your dog "needs to do"! Covered breeze way areas with hydroponic floor during inclement weather Spacious play yards with room to run on field turf, play fetch, take a dip in the pool, roll in the snow! Our Nature Hike Trail is about 3/4 of a mile on a nicely mowed & wood chipped trail. 90'x120' grass Agility field. CATS - Spacious Cat Condo - Well ventilated, central heat and air conditioning. Open solarium with countryside view. Personal duplex condos are used whenever possible, with cat nappers, and resting shelf, all designed with comfort and safety of your cat in mind. Cat Activities -Personal attention during feeding and cleaning. Cat Play times - a great time to snuggle and get brushed, or chase the ball or feather toys. SERVICES & SPECIALTIES - Accommodations for all our special friends - Close supervision provided allows for specialized care, daily routine for food and medications is carefully monitored. SAFETY - A Prime Consideration for us! Electronically monitored alarm system. Double doors throughout the facility. Immediate radio communication between staff. INDIVIDUALIZED FEEDING - We will feed your pets up to 3 times per day. We ask that you bring individual packaged (per meal) food. Special need foods accommodated at NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE! GENERAL - Vaccinations -For your pets protection, all routine vaccinations must be current. We will request your Veterinarian's name for our records and for any emergency needs that may arise. Personal Belongings -Yes! Your pet is welcome to bring their favorite toy, bed, etc. But, please don't bring Grandma's treasured quilt, irreplaceable items, or glass containers. TRAINING - A little something for Everyone!! Obedience - Group & individual classes for puppy, pet and show. Agility - Introductory, Basic and Competition classes. Tracking - For your outdoors dog! Conformation - For your "Show" dog. Rally Obedience A fun AKC event. Sort of like a road rally with your dog! You follow signs and perform the exercises as you move through the course. GROOMING - You know the saying...."If you look good, you feel good!!" Why not help your pet feel as good as they can.
