Charlie & Oscar! Charlie got a comb out & bath and was none too happy about it. So I was happy to see him so chill at home right afterwards. Oscar got a lion clip and just takes everything in stride. Love getting pics like these!!!

HAPPY VETERANS DAY
Yep, me again! No pic of me in uniform holding a cat BUT…here’s a pic of me holding my cat, Pasha, while I was stationed in the UK and me in uniform during tech school. Circa 1985.
Little known true story…I held a top secret security clearance and was a Russian linguist in the USAF during the Cold War. Who woulda thought?!

Pelt. Every time they bring her in (this was maybe the 4th time) she is this badly matted. Their comment to me, “We don’t understand how she lets her coat get this bad.” Once again I explained to them that she can’t maintain this kind of coat on her own.

Sometimes it’s best to have a break from all of the hair! For them & you. Did you know shorthaired cats typically shed more than other cats? And why is that? Because they actually have more hair per square inch. Seriously. Lion clips can work great for them, as well.

Yep…it’s me. 3 yrs old, holding our cat, Ginny. In the backyard of our house at 1826 Harwood. Some of my earliest memories are of this cat. I always had an instant connection to the cats we had growing up. When I was with them, I was in my happy place.

Lion clip on an Exotic Shorthair (shorthaired Persian). ***when shaving a brown tabby, the stripes are then gone but with a blue tabby they intensify…just fyi stuff!***
