It is happening!!! See you there February 12th!

We are getting more excited about our big move this weekend!! Just a reminder that we will be at our NEW location at 520 N 66th St starting next Monday, February 12th with normal operating hours. We will close early at 4pm this Friday, February 9th and will also be closed this Saturday, February 10th in order to facilitate the moving process. Please see the picture below for a map of the new location. We look forward to seeing you and your pets at our new clinic!!! 😃

I have news for the New Year!

I have accepted a position as an Associate Veterinarian at Clock Tower Animal Clinic and I will start next week! I can’t wait to join their team and to practice in a brand new facility that is set to open soon!

I am so thankful for this journey and for all of the people and pets who have got me here. You all mean so much to me!

Before and after a “cherry eye” repair!

What it is: “Cherry eye” is a term used for a prolapse in the gland of the third eyelid.

Why it is important: this gland produces about 1/3 of aqueous tears. If left untreated, it can lead to chronic inflammation, dry eye, and discomfort.

Who is at risk: Beagles, Great Danes, English bulldogs, French bulldogs. Typically seen in young dogs.

How it is repaired: I use the Morgan Pocket Technique to replace the gland. Removal of the gland should be avoided as it can cause dry eye.

This sweet pup was the perfect patient for this procedure! ❤️❤️❤️
