Wow, what a fantastic time we had at the Brookside Fall Bonanza! Huge shoutout to MJM Show Services and Brookside Equestrian Park for throwing such an amazing event. Elaine Loza rocked it with her mare, ImaPrettySmartChic, snagging 5th in the Open Breed Ranch Rail W/J under both judges. Not to mention, she also took an 8th under 2 judges in the AQHA Ranch Riding Amateur Level 1 and pulled off a 9th and 10th in the AQHA Ranch Riding Amateur. And let’s not forget Rebecca Koons, who had her gelding Whizzins Prescribed strutting his stuff, taking 6th in the Open Breed Ranch Rail W/J and 3rd in W/J/L under both judges. Plus, she managed a 7th and 8th in the AQHA Ranch Riding Amateur. Last but definitely not least, Chantel Allen ImaPrettySmartChic for a 1st in the Junior and Whizzins Prescribed and 1st in the Sr for the AQHA Open Ranch Riding Versatility. Such a great day we are already looking forward to the next one! Hey guys! Finally it’s here (it’s been a busy summer lol.) … As summer comes to a close, let's take a quick look back at the exciting adventures we've had so far. From the Brookside Bonanza AQHA Show to our time in Southern California and Woodside to Rancho Murieta for Allen’s Performance Horses, we've been busy showcasing our hard work and dedication.

At the Brookside Bonanza, our team put on some impressive performances. Chantel Allen showed Russian Wrangler in the Open Reining and Sparkling Rose in the Open Ranch Riding, Ember Gilmore showed Russian Wrangler in the Open Ranch Riding, Elizabeth Jorgensen showed Little Miss Gunner in the Open Ranch Riding , Rebecca Koons showed Whizzins Prescribed in the Amateur Ranch Riding and Elaine Loza showed ImaPrettySmartChic in the Amateur Ranch Riding. Each member of the team gave it their all and it showed in their performances.

Our trip to Southern California was a quick but memorable one. Chantel Allen showed Little Miss Gunner in the Open Ranch Riding and Steven Allen Jr showed Sparkling Rose in the Open Ranch Riding and Russian Wrangler in the Open Reining, the team represented us well.

Woodside Horse Park was another successful stop for us. Steven Jr showed Sparkling Rose in the Non Pro Futurity taking 4th, Elizabeth debuted in her first Futurity with Little Miss Gunner taking 3rd! While Jaiden Cholmia and Steven Jr qualified for The Run For A Million in the Rookie 2 and Steven Jr also qualified in the Non Pro. The team's hard work and dedication paid off once again.

Gold N Grand was a blast as always. From Carly Allen and Colton Reed in Ranch Lead Line wining Circuit Champion and 4th overall, to Emersyn Forcier and Teagan Cole in the Youth Ranch Reining divisions, our team showed their skills and passion for the sport. Other highlights included Julie Ruiz's debut in the Amateur Ranch Riding Rail and Cheyenne Reed's impressive performance in the Amateur Ranch Reining wining a Circuit 3rd overall. April Gilmore showed for her first time out of the lead line in the Ranch Riding Walk Trot 10 and under on BR Old River! Chantel Allen was back in the pen on Double Bright Diamond in the open Ranch Riding Rail Walk Trot taking a Circuit Top 5. Devin Cole showed Patriotic Fanta in the Walk Trot Ranch Reining pulling a buckle for 3rd. Amelia Shannon showed her gelding Aeros in the Ranch Reining. Jaiden Cohlmia showed Patriotic Fanta in the Youth Ranch Reining earning themselves a buckle. Ember Gilmore showed Br old River in the Ranch Riding Reining Open earning a 3rd Overall Buckle. Chantel Allen Showed Double Bright Diamond in the Ranch Reining Open.
Emersyn showed her filly WhizzinChexNDiamonds in the Youth Hunter Under Saddle as did Brook Harper on her lovely mare World Within. Steven Allen Jr stepped on his former youth mount Crome Topsail to take Circuit Champion in the Youth Ranch Reining.

As we look ahead to The Run For the Million, we are excited to see what the future holds for our team. With dedication and hard work, we are confident that we will continue to achieve great things and meet personal goals.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us along the way. We couldn't have done it without you. Here's to more memories and successes in the future!

Gold N Grand is always a fun show and Spring 2024 was no different. A few challenges with the rain but show must go on… with the exception of Reining which because of the amount of rain received Friday night and Saturday afternoon and into the evening the reining pens were just too sloppy, therefore show management made the call to cancel. With that being said instead of the grueling 3days vying for a top spot for the weekend this year it was a one go round for the Reiners, and how you placed on Friday was your final results. For everyone else the show went on as normal showing for all 3 days, everyone of course having their own goals but most eyeing those pretty GNG Buckles.

The Allens Performance Horses team came and did their thing, Colton Reed and Carly Allen showed in the Freestyle Leadline. Suzanne Tucker showed Crome Topsail in the W/T Amateur Ranch Flat. Barbara Farinha showed Id Rather Be Blue in the Ranch Riding Amateur and the Ranch Reining Amateur. Elaine Loza showed ImaPrettySmartChic in the Ranch Riding. Rebecca Koons showed Whizzens Prescribed in Ranch Riding Amateur . Cheyanne Reed showed Man Made Treasure in Ranch Riding and also in the Ranch Reining Amateur earning a Top 5 Buckle. Brook Harper and World Within debuted at their 1st show showing in the W/T Hunter Under Saddle 18/u. Emersyn Forcier showed her filly WhizzinChexnDiaminds in the W/T Hunter Under Saddle 13/u and the W/T Ranch Reining Youth/Amateur earning their 1st Buckle together.
Teagan Cole Showed Crome Topsail in the W/T Ranch Reining Youth/Amateur.
Devin Cole Showed Br Old River in the W/T Ranch Reining 10/u. Orianna Dalton showed Patriotic Fanta in the W/T Ranch Reining Youth/Amatuer. Dylan Wheeler her first time showing rode Patriotic Fanta inthe W/T Ranch Reining Reining 10/u and won a top 5 Buckle. Elizabeth Jorgensen showed Lil Miss Gunner in the Ranch Riding Open. Ember Gilmore showed Russian Wrangler in the Ranch Riding Open.
Steven Allen Jr showed Sparkling Rose in the Ranch Riding Open, Got Strawberry Wine in the Snaffle Bit Hack, Sixty Six hits in the Snaffle Bit Hack and took a Top 5 Buckle, and Russian Wrangler in the Youth 18/U Reining also taking a Top 5 Buckle.
Kynlee Cohlmia showed Honey Bright Diamond in the Short Stirrup Reining winning a Top 5 buckle as well.

It was a great show and we all look forward for Summer GNG.

Thank you to Murieta Equestrian Center, Shady Schneider and her team for all you hard work putting together a great show !
