Gaston needs a home.
We got to meet Gaston (aka Gas) today. He met us at the truck… Friendly, playful, loves to play fetch with the famous blue PooPatrol tennis ball! He will take for a hike and run the trails with you. He is getting along with the other dogs, and quickly learned his boundaries.
Again, Gaston is looking for a furever home. If you are interested, DM me. I’ll put you in touch with the foster mom.

Meet Gaston… he is an Aussie and 2 years old and he’s looking for a new home.

His story…
He comes from a home that broke apart..not his fault.
He lived with children…and loved them.
Sadly neither human could take care of him.

So one of my fantastic customers just started fostering Gaston and He’s hanging out with two of my canine buddies. She is looking for a furever home for Gaston.

If you want to know more about Gaston, contact me. I will put you in touch with the foster mom.

I hope to see him Wednesday and get more pictures.

Remember my canine friend in Hawaii? PooPatrol mailed Chase and his family some PooPatrol swag. I think Chase was excited to get mail! They sent me video. Here’s some pics of that video.
So glad we stopped talked with them.

Their message:

Wow! Mahalo for the awesome package!!!! Chase has already enjoyed the frisbee and tennis balls and we have used to p**p bags! That was such a fun and thoughtful surprise! Keep up the great work and if we are ever in Lincoln, Nebraska we will stop by for a visit!

PooPatrol sponsored and attended the Lincoln Animal Ambassadors Spay-ghetti and No-Balls dinner tonight.
I invited my friends, Josh, Sarah, Troy, Janice and Kathy to the PooPatrol table. But the highlights were:
Albert Noah Pooper attended the 3 hour dinner and he did great! He wanted nothing to do with the No-Balls! 🤭
And I won the bid on a giant cookie from Eileen’s. PooPatrol truly does “Love our Paw Pals!”
I love that I can help out organizations like this!

I want to give a big shout out and thank to Jim and Rita Kinkennon.
They took time out of their Saturday, rearranged their living room, let 2 dogs come into Bob’s (cat) domain…so that we could get some professional photos done for our future speaking engagements.
As you see..they know how to pose without being instructed. No editing needed and we didn’t even have to use the cat toy to get their attention.

I want to give these people 15 minutes of PooPatrol fame! Meet Chase and his Hawaiian family. Chase is a special dog, he helps out a family member.
Yes, I do want to scoop in Hawaii! Chase would be my first Hawaiian customer!
His family is very nice.
We did compare Albert to Chase. Pretty sure Albert will be bigger based on the paw size!

Sometimes my employees and customers wonder why I’m not scooping. Today was one of the days. While I love scooping, I know it’s important for me to advocate for myself, my employees and others.

I was invited and attended the Nebraska 2023 Supported Employment Summit today. As a person with disability who receives supports, a small business owner who hires people with disabilities and an Ambassador for Charting the Life Coarse it was important that I was able to discuss this important subject with everyone.
We answered questions like…
Engaging Individuals and Families - What can each of us do to truly promote and expect employment as a natural part of high school transition and adulthood?

Supported Employment Professionals- what can we do to ensure Supported Employment Professionals are equipped with key skills and competencies necessary for success.

Using Vocational Rehabilitation and Division of Developmental Disabilities, how do we work together for the individuals, providers and the funding sources?

What can we do to ensure the general public and employers see people with intellectual disabilities as capable of being valued members of the Nebraska’s workforce?

Having worked with Vocational Rehabilitation, providers, and individuals, I had a voice in this summit.

Throughout the day, their eyes were on the prize! The 1st place Turd Herding trophy and bragging rights.
While no one from PooPatrol won 1st, 2nd or 3rd, they walked away holding their head hi!

Albert Noah Pooper had his 10 week old birthday today!
It was a busy day with his first puppy checkup at Tomorrow's Veterinary Care with Dr. Klone. Albert weighs 17 pounds! He got some shots.
Dr. Klone said Albert can start socializing and going almost everywhere with me with his Service Dog In Training vest on. So for his birthday and his first real test, I took him for a beer at Huskerville! I drank the beer for him. Albert had water, after all…he’s in training! 😆 Thanks Glenna and Gary for hanging with us.
