Snoopy/spike did amazing job to get all that hair off! He wasn’t a fan on his front legs but we got it all off! To avoid matting/knots with a very curly coat and cotton one like his I always suggest getting a long bristle brush! To get directly to the skin than just the top layer! It works great! He’s a shihtzu poodle mix 💙

This beautiful baby is Anaya she really over came her fear yesterday! What a big step in the tub a lot of slow introductions really helped her have a better grooming experience! Good Morning Everyone! I have a story to share with everyone and how to an identify if your dog is matted by the Feel Method. And How us groomers must shave in situations like theses! So an Older man came in explaining how unfortunately he lost his wife recently which is very sad and understandable to why the dog was not taken sooner to a groomer. Things happen unexpectedly the dog was in rough shape but not too severely in a bad one! So he knew Teddy the (Sh*tzu) had to be shaved. Every matted/knotted dog fur tends to fool everyone’s eyes by being fluffy on the outside. But in reality it’s tight knots and with my videos& pictures that i share will help you visualize how underneath is knots right to the skin! Down below shows when you pull the skin (meaning lightly pull you can visual and feel how thick it’s underneath the top layer of the coat) !
