Retained Deciduous Teeth
How often do you check in your dog's mouth? In this video we're showing what retained puppy teeth look like - deciduous teeth. If your dog has puppy teeth still in their mouth after 6 months old, they're NOT coming out on their own, and there's no home remedy for this either! It's most commonly found in the small to medium dogs but it can happen to any dog in reality. we've seen it all! Those extra teeth shouldn't stay behind! they don't act as a spare tooth, in fact they endanger the adult teeth around them. While in your dog's mouth, they will have a tendency to store food and plaque right up against the gums and teeth that are supposed to be there! We check the mouths of every cat and dog getting spayed or neutered, like this boy in the video - We want to get these out while your pet is already under anesthesia for something they need, but if a surgery isn't already in the plans for your young pet, we still want them Out! We'll do a dedicated dental procedure so those pesky baby teeth aren't going to mess up your pet's mouth! Reminder that the month of February is Pet Dental Health month! Call to schedule your pet's dental and get a 10% discount on the dental procedure rate! #petdentalhealth#vetmed
